Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum here is very well designed that is a perfect blend of practical as well as theoretical subjects. In the first 3 semesters we were taught some subjects such as : Introduction to Biology, Biodiversity- Algae and Microbiology, Chemistry, Biodiversity- Mycology and Phytopathology and Plant Resource Utilization. Research subjects were introduced in the 5th semester.

Placement Experience

If we talk about the placements of the college they are just fine. Hardly 2-3 companies visit the campus and the percentage of unplaced students is more than the placed students. But if we talk about job opportunities in this field we will know that , there are plenty of jobs waiting for a BSc graduate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. The total cost is approximately INR 4,500 for the complete Bsc course for three years. The tuition fee charged per year is INR 1,425. As our college is affiliated to university of Calcutta the fee charges are revised by them.

Campus Life

There are many extracurricular activities organised in the college itself. The labs and classrooms are very spacious and clean. Many other rooms such as Art and craft resource center , music rooms and multipurpose halls are also available.Various clubs of our college organizes cultural and technical fests. The sports complex in our college is very vast and provides numerous opportunities for sports as well.

Admission

I applied for the application from the online mode. To apply online I first registered myself as a new applicant on the college? official website and filled the form. The minimum eligibility criteria for BSC is 10+2 examination with 50% in best four subjects taken together and passed from HS/ISC/CBSE/NIOS board.

The faculty members majorly consists of female members. They are highly educated from the top colleges of India with a specialization in their subject. They always helped the students in various aspects. Many career guiding seminars were also organised by the teachers that helped me a lot during my college years.

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Likes

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

They provide you with various oppertunities like exposure visits, seminar , worshops, etc.

Dislikes

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

Study pressure is not that much it will be sufficient to stu61 months before final exam
No strict college there is not compulsory to wear college uniform
Faculty are good they are supportive helpful

Dislikes

College campus is small infrastructure is not good
Placement and internship opportunities is very less
Number of students in each batch is more

Curricullum is quite ok crowd of students are more coding culture should be introduced need of improvement of infrastructure as well in my batch 2023 to 2027 there is total 3 exam in each semester including end sem and 2 test

Likes

Faculty is really good and helping they do help !
Labs are taken on time and is made clear to us very well
Teacher are very good and friendly for us

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Nothing as much , some little stuffs that are everywhere nowadays in college

Exams are generally spaced well throughout the smemstwr allowing adequate time for preperation , how ever the frequenxy can sometimes be overwhelming particulary during peak study periods , but the diffulty level isnt that concerning and they are easy

Adamas university : Path of success

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Placement Experience:

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.
