Amazing College In Assam

The infrastructure facilities at my college were top class. The Commerce Block facilitates the Class rooms for the Teachers and Students of the Commerce Stream. A multi-storied building has also come up, commonly known as the Maths-Geo Building (proposed as Sonaikuchi Block), to cater to the growing needs of the Mathematics, Geography and Acting departments. The college provided all these facilities at such a minimal fees.

The course curriculum is well researched and very vast, In my course the students are taught by way of practical labs and theory classes. We had theory classes 3 days and and 2 days. Examinations are held every 6 months.

The placements at Jagiroad College are good the students get placed in good companies and the average package is around 3.5-4 lakhs p.a. A number of internship opportunities are also provided. Certain number of students also choose to go for further studies.

The fees for my course is rupees 4720 per year making the total fees rupees 14160. The fees has been kept really low so that student from all sections of the society can study here. The fees structure was also very flexible.

When it comes to extracurricular activities my college was very active, as I myself were a part of the dramatics society so the whole college experience is enhanced by that. If you are into sports then aswell the football,basketball and cricket teams will excite you.

At the undergraduate level the admission are done on the basis of merit in your 10+2 examination. I scored 87% marks in my senior secondary school therefore cleared the merit criteria and got admission into this prestigious college.

The faculty of my college is good and hardworking. In my time at the college I observed that the professors were very humble and understanding, although they maintained utmost discpline in the classes.
