I chose this course for basic business knowledge. many students are taken admission to this college. I would like to give a rating of 10/10 for teaching methods. students should appear for two terms of the exam.

Books cost price very high for this course. students can apply to any students like Ishan uday scholarship, DHS scholarship, SC or OBC scholarship..this college doesn't give any placement on this course.

Campus Life

There are many books on commerce in the library. During college week, students enjoy many sports competitions..this college is famous for basketball. this college has A very good basketball team .about 10 types of sports are in this college.

Hostel Facilities

In the room.the facilities are not bad..4 fans are in the room..the room's color is yellow. college canteen is not good and provides very poor quality food. Hostel students get admission by paying 8000 rs per annum.

Gauhati University: A Students perspective.

Likes

The networking and the contacts that GU provides.
Exposure to various aspects. Chance of self discovery
Great environment. Loved the campus. A great place to study also the Library and canteens. Connectivity

Dislikes

Too much pressure on students in certain cases.
Very slow processing of documents by the authorities
Very delayed results of all the semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is an integrated course where i will be getting a masters degree after completing 5 years. Only tezpur university provides this course other than GU. The curriculum prepares students mainly to pursue careers in academic fields and research fields. More practical aspects can be added to provide a holistic knowledge to the students. The exams are very well planed.

The environment is good peace' and calm .
The campus is good clean and good faculties
Reputed name , the courses are good overall feels good to be a part of this college

Dislikes

People's are arogants, egoistic , do nepotism.
Attendance matters then knowledge, if a student have less attendance in one subject also they don't provide them to give exam.
Lengthy course and less classes the professor completed the syllabus in just 2 months, they say the semester have 6 months but we are giving the finals in 3rd month!

I will rate it 7 cause lengthy course less classes, Exam timing are vast others colleges held there exam on the last month of the year but our college held there exam on the 3rd month of the semester overall not good

Present the documents along with photocopies after scoring the qualifying marks and post that the college authorities will give you an acknowledgment slip which confirms your admission in the college and can also be used as the College ID until you receive the actual college ID.
