Course Curriculum Overview

The course duration is of 3 years with a total of 6 semesters. The course curriculum is pretty decent with the basics of programming and discrete maths in the first sem. In the next semesters, we are taught core concepts. We also have frequent labs every week.

Placement Experience

The placement and training cell does provide with a lot of training and internship opportunities to students. As the institute is accredited A, some good tech companies do come here for hiring like TCS, INFOSYS, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is around 1700 INR per year and for a total of 3 years it rounds to be almost 5.1K INR which is quite nominal compared to government colleges and very less compared to private colleges. It includes tuition fees, admission fees and all other fess.

Campus Life

We have a lot of club activities going around in campus. We celebrate our cultural fest and other festivals inside campus. We also play a lot of sports in our campus with football being my favorite. We also have our annual sports week.

Admission

Getting admission in this college was pretty smooth for me. The eligibility for applying is to pass 10+2 higher secondary education. After applying, on basis of merit list I was called for interview and after clearing it, I landed here.

Faculty

The faculty is quite decent with good knowledge. All members are highly qualified with years of experience. We do have some guest lecturers, but they are still pretty good. They are quite affable and easy-going, ready to help us when needed.

I would rate 4 out of 5 for relevance and comprehensiveness. The curriculum covers the important fundamental concepts as well as advanced topics required for the course. The curiculum could be improved more by industry oriented.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement only after course completion. Almost all (90 to 95)% of the student can get placement in the institution. My plan after this degree is to apply my knowledge in an accredited medical laboratory and contribute to the health sector in my country.

The Best Place to Study MSc Medical Laboratory Technology

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course based on the content of the University curriculum which was strongly followed by the institution. All the departments follow the University syllabus both theory and practicals. The maximum number of students for the MSc course is 10 but we were 2 in my class and the faculties ( 10 faculties in Biochemistry, 12 faculties in Microbiology, 8 in Hematology and 6 in Pathology, 4 in Genetics (part of Hematology and Pathology) and 2 in Epidemiology and Biostatistics) as of our time in both theory and practicals. In addition, there are many laboratory postings where you learn even more. There were atleast 5 Professors, 9 Associate Professors/Assistant Professors, 7 PhDs that directly taught us. The University exams come on October 15th of each year, there are 3 Internal assessments and 1 model exam. If you go through the internal assessment and the model exam, the University exam will not be difficult for you.
