Course Curriculum Overview

The course was 3 years long with 6 semesters and we used to have a very strict yet stress free curriculum. The whole subject was practical based so we had practicals conducted at the end of each semester with the external and internal examinations.

Placement Experience

3

The college used to arrange placements at the end of each year and we were selected on the basis of our merit and self performance in academics. Companies like national diversity, research firms like Botany limited, plants and diversity etc used to come and interview. Although it was recommended to study further for masters.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the course was very feasible around ?1500/- for one year and the total course was less than ?10,000 excluding the hostel fees. The whole course was very affordable for those who couldn? afford high education at high price. It could be submitted in the form of demand draft, card payments.

Campus Life

The college was old yet nicely constructed with big buildings and blocks and had all the basic facilities. The library and labs were fully equipped with all the latest books. The students used to come from different backgrounds. We had clubs like dance, music, debate and language labs clubs.

Admission

On the basis of 12th board examinations I got the admission in the college. The application form was available online through which I applied and fill the details. The college called for the counselling and my admission was confirmed for the BSc botany.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college was very helpful and polite. They provided all the help needed at the time of examination and performing practicals. The teachers were known scholars and nobles. They also provided us the recommendation letters.

Honestly, I was preparing for neet but after neet i was very clear that i want to do this(Agriculture). Practical cum theory approach here will make you a awared man in this field. Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

I choose this course because the curriculum combines clear theoretical foundations with strong practical exposure, and hands on session influenced by decision most. The exam pattern was good. Moderate paper was there. Examiner had done a great job. For the curriculum we always had to pay extra money. In our 7th sem, we had all India tour, we did have any practical classes or theory exam still we had to pay for the practical and library not only that we had to pay for the trip as well.
