The university has many facilities for the students as they want the students to have a feeling like home. However, the study environment is not up to the mark and the library does not have the books of all the subjects with appropriate copies.

The course is designed as per new guidelines and it covers all the aspects of engineering and technology in a four year study program. However, the exam structure is made semester-wise with internal and final external examinations.

The job and placement opportunities are on average due to which students go mostly for higher education. However, they are opted for internships in the final year for gaining work experience as it will surely help to work full time.

The university organizes several events as a part of curriculum so that the boring routine of students can be changed in terms of various aspects. However, there are many festivals which come along and all of them are celebrated with joy by the students.

The fee structure is quite feasible for mostly everyone as one can pay the fees semester wise and also that in parts. However, if one has severe economic condition they can request administration for special relief and pay the fees accordingly.

At the university, apart from academic study, there are many extra curricular activities which are organized for the students. The technical events are the main part of it. Here students learn various newer machinery on which the are going to work in future once they complete their education.

The hostel facilities are quite good by the university as many students apply for the same. Many students are from outside the state thus tend to live on campus and enjoy here only. The hostel infrastructure is well built and the environment is quite peaceful.

At the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, there are many seniors whom I have contact with. They are very helpful and provide their support in every possible way. However, there is not much interaction with them.

I got admission in Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University on merit basis. As my course is undergraduate program of four years with compulsory subjects as Maths and Physics in 12th standard. The admission criteria should be fulfilled and the process is other online and on campus with all your mark sheets and documents.
