Remarks

College is good if looking for a immediate job after the course but apart from Computer/IT stream their is not much pratical learning for Electonics students. The college should focus on industry oriented courses rather than age old courses

Entrance Preview

I gave AIEEE and I scored around 18,000 All India Rank in 2006 and joined JIIT-Noida in Electronics and Communication stream

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Awesome experience in a nut shell, coming from entirely non technical background and emerging as a technical professional is what symbolizes my college. its amazing infrastructure and very proper and highly effective placement cell makes this college to be placed amongst the list.

Internships Opportunities

No companies come for internship, but the professors and teachers have really good links with industry people basically this is the case with most deemed universities in india

Placement Experience

Amazing placement cell.It is actually the best in our batch i.e 2006-2010 its 100% placement with people getting more than one offers in the hand even before the last semester. I was among them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive above 1Lac.

Campus Life

I was a Dayscholar, so didn't avail hostel facility abut its amazing as many of my friends are living in hostelannual ROBOTICS competition is held and the seniors help the new comers to gain the skill and expertisecultural wise : its totally rocking by the end of odd numbered semester a cultural fest takes palce called JIVE

Faculty

2.5

Faculty wise its Ok, as most of the faculties are professors but not much industry people which I think should be as this course led its student on course of practical and professional world thus I think the proper experience and knowledge of that world can come only from a industry people, as they can lead the path of the young minds if one choses their industry as his/her career.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Some Points about JIIT

choosing jiit over other private colleges seemed like a smart decision due to it's good average package in Delhi NCR. I applied to the northcap university in gurgaon and i was selected there but after talking to students there and looking at the average package of the college i chose jiit being it close to metro station also it is in a good location too. Main reason was fro choosing jiit was also that i didn't had good jee rank to get accepted in the good government colleges. i also got into ipu but again the placements stats influenced me alot...Read More
