Course Curriculum Overview

The M.Tech course at Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University - [SGBAU], Amravati has a rigid curriculum however, a good thing about this curriculum is that there is a good amount of focus on the practicality along with the theoretical aspect.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities of the college are really good as I've seen students getting decent job offers from many prestigious companies such as CPCL and GMR. I am satisfied with the placement aspect of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The cost of M.Tech at this esteemed institution is ?38,462 for the complete two year, full time, on-campus course. In my opinion, this fee structure is really affordable and feasible and one must choose this college over any other.

Campus Life

There are several fun and light activities organised by the college with an intention to make the college lives of the students memorable. These activities include cultural evenings, visits, fests, trips etcetera.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is really strong and students of different batches usually come together on alumni meets and various other auspicious occasions where they help us and motivate us through their insightful learnings.

I always wanted to pursue M.Tech so after my graduation, I took the GATE entrance exam and luckily scored well which helped to get admission in Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University - [SGBAU], Amravati.

Faculty

Teachers of the college are very skilled and experienced. They have contributed immensely in this field and are bonafide gurus. They make learning fun and are always there pushing us to achieve better and better in our lives.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

Dislikes

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.
