Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was well planned. The course involved practical application of concepts more than theory. The course focussed on inculcating life skills like leadership, teamwork and critical thinking. The course required us to appear for the exams regularly and we had to submit our assignments and projects on time.

Placement Experience

4

Placements opportunities are excellent. About 90 per cent of the students get placements from our college every year. Companies like Amazon, Genpact, BMW, GreyCampus etc come and hire students from our college. The average package is around 2 lakh per year and the highest packages can be around 4 lakhs per year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee charged is quite high. The fee cannot be afforded by everyone. But if you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience then it is worth to spend your money. The fee for my course was around 2,25,000 rupees per year which can be paid in 2 installments.

Campus Life

In order to promote the overall development of students, the college lays emphasis on sports also. There are two pool tables and a table tennis court which is maintained by trained staff. Also, there is a ground where cricket matches are played and professional kits are provided to students. The cafeteria is spacious and hygienic. The ambience is perfect for informal student interaction. There are a well-stocked library and labs which are well equipped with modern facilities.

Admission

The admission procedure involved filing and submitting an application form. After submitting the form I was called for an interview. The interview was taken by the vice-principal of the college. There was no other requirement other than qualifying class 12 from CBSE/ICSE or any other equivalent state board.

Faculty

4

The college faculty was supportive. They were helpful and taught us through unique and interesting teaching methods. They taught us the course through case studies where we had to apply our theoretical knowledge. They were quite experienced and clarified our doubts patiently.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Highest package is around 58 lakhs after doing mba and the average package is around 10.5 to 11 lakhs. 95% of the students get placed. Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
