Course Curriculum Overview

This was my dream course because I always wanted to pursue my higher education in MD. In my family, most of my members are doctors so this is a platform to proof and help humanity by contributing my self. The was a three-year duration course which is based on Theory Papers, Group Discussions, Lectures, Seminars, Clinical Practical and guest lectures from top-class doctors in India.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement was good, I got placement when I was doing my last year training in a private hospital. Many of my friends got placement in Government, MCD, Private and Semi government hospitals. Getting a job in MD degree is very easy because in today's world as the population is increasing then our country need doctors to take care of them in any case of medical treatment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the course was INR 403,000 per month. But my college had provided me with a government scholarship and the half amount was paid by the government. but still, the amount of the fee was huge but for the degree of MD, money doesn't matter because the college provides us with many facilities which are worth.

Campus Life

The best thing about my college was its green environment. which makes it beautiful and students feel nature. The college had facilities of Library, Hostel, Medical backup, Transportation and Auditoriums for seminars. The college was very good at sports so Indoor and outdoor games facility was provided to the students. we had a gymnasium also with a well-trained trainer to teach. College had CCTV Cameras, Security, Power back and 24*7 running water.

Admission

My Admission procedure was simple to take admission in the programme of MD, A candidate must have an MBBS degree or an equivalent qualification from a government recognized board. Also, the candidate must have a permanent registration with the medical council of India or any other states. Then the candidate had to qualify for the entrance exam of NEET-PG, by securing a good rank the candidate can take admission in any college by his choice.

Faculty

5

We had the top-notch faculty in the college, teachers were experienced doctors, surgeons and Physicians. they were very good at knowledge and provide regular lectures to the students. Students could raise any type of question-related with the degree and human science. teachers are very intelligent and their way of teaching is very unique.

Reviewed on Dec 12, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very passionate about entering the medical field quite early in my life, so I knew what I had to do when I was in school. Medical field is a very challenging area to choose and the work life balance is not as good as other professions. However, it is very engaging and interesting for people who are actually interested in the subject. However, one cannot practice medicine after finishing MBBS because of the increasing competition, so he has to do PG course in order to be more approachable for the patients as well as to serve better in the specific field. The course curriculum is start in a well planned manner and the portions are completed ahead of time so that students have around 1 to 1.5 months of study break before the university exams every year. So, along with the exams that take place throughout the year, students will also have ample time to prepare for their exams in their own way preferred.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.
