The course structure is not at all rigid, itss completely flexible. I have enjoyed learning about fashion designing. it's total fun. It is a 3 year course in which there are total 6 semesters. We have to be keep updated about the latest fashion trends.
Placement cell is there in the college and internship are also available for those who are interested and sometimes you have to find yourselves a job. Me and my friend starting our own boutique and also earning well together. After passing fashion designing you can be fashion designer on merchandiser.
The fees is no doubt highly expensive. Only students who comes from upper class families can afford to study in this college. It is around RS 11,00,000. Its is whole 3 year course fees. Its the only negative remark i would give for the college.
There are various fashion shows festivals and fests that take place in the college. Sports competition mein cricket tournament also held which environment more fun.there are rules and regulation which are strictly followed by each and every student. Other facilities such as fashion labs in computer labs are well-equipped.
The mode of application is online so I first filled up the form and also give the fashion aptitude Test which was important for my admission in whistling Woods international. After I got shortlisted I was called for personal interview. For fashion designing it's good Institute.
Faculty of the college is different for everyone department and as per the fashion designing department is concerned with teachers are really helpful and kind. They are supportive and encouraging. I liked how they designed the clothes and explain us.
The placement cell is very good here, almost all students get placed each year. Companies like L&T, Infosys, Shell IT, TCS Digital, TCS Ninja, Car wale and many more. The placement cell here also provides placement training for the students starting from the second year. There is CIBA which is a startup by College Alumni and this Company helps in spreading awareness about Entrepreneurship and why is it necessary and helpful to have a Business or Entrepreneurial mindset. It also helps in startup ideas and grow and create a network among students.

The faculty of this college was good and experienced. They were extremely supportive and gave a very good guide to all who sought for. They were very strict and particular about their subjects and pushed all students to score good marks in every exam. We did not require external coaching because they taught us very well. There were 2 exams a year and a total of 6 semesters for 3 years. It was not difficult to pass at all and was very much easy and can highly score.
After 4 sem students are eligible for campus placement. And a number of companies are arriving for campus placement. The package provided by companies are totally dependent on them they take interviews according to that they consider how many packages should provide that particular student. The minimum package is 5000 to 20000.
Reviews and ranking, known for the course I wanted to pursue. The faculty is really good and helpful here and the environment is good and healthy. I had a liking for Biology since school and wanted to go deeper into it. And I found study of microbes an interesting subject to study
The placements are good and depends on the course. Students pursuing courses like bsc computer science easily get into reputed companies like Infosys while some courses may require Msc degree too to get a good placement.
A few things that need change are perhaps an equal opportunity for boys and girls during entrance(not limited by the 4:1 ratio).Besides this, the college is as near perfect as one can have. As I said in the title, its a college for the fortunate few and i am glad i am one of them.
St. Xavier's started out as a just a college to me but over the years its turned into a second home. Whatever I have described above about the college is but the tip of the iceberg there is so much more to it. I love this place for its culture its people and its ethos. I will never be able to forget what this institution has done for me and how it has helped me grow into the person I am now.
