Remarks

This college is not only college but an emotion. It's full of new opportunities, skill enhancement place. The environment is very calm and beautiful. The cafeteria is amazing and this college is full of facilities. The other students are also very friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course of PhD is quite big but is divided into many research sections. The main focus of the college is in the field of Electronics Engineering and Physical Sciences especially involving Cognitive Computing, Integrated Systems, Control and Automation. The exams are conducted regularly.

Placement Experience

The placements and internship offered by the college is amazing. Almost all the students get placed.The college also offers helping hand to a large number of students, both graduates and post graduates in completing their academic requirements for their project works.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Compared to other colleges the fee of PhD in engineering at my college is low. It is easily affordable. The course duration is of 2 years. The entire fee is roughly around ?6.48 lakh. This includes the fee of tuition and laboratory charges. The fee structure is apt.

Campus Life

The college holds various skill enhancing workshops that helps in brushing up the skills. There are a lot other events also held in the college. The labs are highly maintained and consists of new machines that are based on latest technologies. The library is full of books which is based on new guidelines. The other facilities offered are auditorium, cafeteria and a medical room.

Alumni/Alumna

As I am an introvert I don't interact much with people. But the seniors are so friendly and understanding. They are against ragging and are very generous. They help you whether you need them. Some of the alumni of the college are placed within the college and are now teaching and lecturing or are into research or are profesional scientist.

Admission

The entire admission registration is done online. For PhD one must qualify all the guidelines set by the college. The candidate must have passed M.Tech. or has done the junior research fellowship or senior research fellowship in CSIR-CEERI. After one gets qualified he/ she is called for an interview. The interview process is little strenuous.

Faculty

The entire faculty of college from teaching to non- teaching staff is extremely professional. The lecturers take lecture with great enthusiasm and clarify each and every doubt. They conduct weekly test and assignments that help in better understanding of the lessons.

NIIT University: A Student's Perspective

Likes

The campus offers a huge campus of 100 acres with a lot of sport activities with gyms .
The university works towards sustainability and the whole campus is covered with a lot of greenery
The university allows the students to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds .This will surely further help us in our personal and professional lifes.

Dislikes

The major problem living in a 100% residential university is staying away from your home and people you care about. This leads to severe homesickness.

Placement Experience:

The university shows an incredible record of 100% placements every year since its inception in 2009. Companies like Amazon, BlinkIt, Hungama, Grant Thornton and Deloitte often visit the university and make several offers to the students.

My first thoughts about NU

Likes

I do like the facilities offered in the university of proper clean hostel rooms,toiletries,etc.
Faculty and other staff is really polite,helpful and generous.
This university is not only good in placements,education and faculty but also in sustainable living and use and practice of environmental friendly techniques.

Dislikes

Sometimes you need to adjust with various things like new environment

Placement Experience:

This is the college that provide over 92% of placements and not only this bit a 1/1.5 year industrial practice that will increase our skills and if someone have any issue in getting a placement this university will provide your referral and help you till you get placed.

Internship provided by our great college

Likes

College is surrounded by the aravali range on the three sides and they have maintained it really well so it's really green all around.
They select only few students in each batch so the classes are really interactive and teachers are always available.
There are night out on weekends so we don't really feel that we are being restricted in the hostels.

Dislikes

We have to walk all the way to the main gate to collect our blinkit and food deliveries.

Placement Experience:

After the second last year , for the last year college provides the industry practice where the students often get pre placement offer and they offer two types of IP 6 month and 1 year both based on students preference .

Likes

I liked campus, supporting teachers and the facilities to gain knowledge
Focusing on practical knowledge more than the practical knowledge
I liked events, fests and workshops that hepls to gain knowledge and interaction with other people

Dislikes

I don’t like hostel facilities in terms of hygiene, food quality
Most of the teachers are not supportive in nature
Administrative management is not good at all. They did solve any problem at a point

Placement Experience:

After the 3rd semester students are eligible to getting placed and for internships. Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, Flipkart, Amazon, concentrix, Jio and many more. 1500+ students getting placed annually Highest packages is 1400000 and lowest packages is 700000

A balanced academic experience at Poddar college

Likes

Teachers are very nice and supportive . They helped me so much.
Infrastructure is very elegant and properly maintained.
There is well equipped computers lab and air conditioned classrooms.

Placement Experience:

The average package is modest and placements mainly depend on students skill and performance. Many student prefer higher studies ,internship or off campus job opportunities after completing the course.

What is appreciated about college is their focus on academics not every private college focus on academics but they do and it's great if we compare to other private colleges.
The placements aren't that good but they try hard to get you placed so yes the companies do visit the most visiting companies are celebal,tcs
The campus is just fine it have different blocks for first year and others also have two garden to hangout and a basket ball court.

Dislikes

There isn't a very good college life like as I said they are mainly focusing on academics so events aren't that good as they can be
Campus isn't big enough so you barely get any place to roam around with your friends
Placement aren't very high it's around 5lakh ctc which is low

Placement Experience:

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

Support of the sinears in the college in notes and study
Environ of the college is very good and clear

Dislikes

College building which to old and second floor always leaking in rainy days.
Teachers of second year are not interested in teaching subjects.
Wifi of the college never works even it can't run WhatsApp

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in textile department because college is known for textile best college in Rajasthan that's why IT ,CSE ,ME,ECE are not getting that much pakage but recieves 4 lakhs average and if sumone not get job they can try of campus mostly try of campus.

The placement cell of my college is very strong there are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS, intel, Microsoft, Infosys etc. There are around 55% placements in other departments. My plans are to do some great things after getting the degree
