Studying at the Indian Statistical Institute in Delhi is one of the best chances you will ever get. The program and institute are renowned for producing skilled students and groundbreaking research.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very thorough and detailed. There is a lot of depth and lots of focus into research about statistics too. Hence, there is a lot of focus and time required as well. Exams are throughout the course.

Placement Experience

Placements from ISI are superb. Almost all students are placed every single year, and there is a crazy demand for the students from this fine institution. The starting salaries are easily in the lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are quite reasonable at ISI. The first years fees for the masters degree in statistics are around 20,000 rupees. The total course fees are around 40,000 rupees, hence it is very reasonable for a master's degree.

Campus Life

The library has many books and also wonderful resources. Being government-funded, this institution actually affords us a lot of chances to access good facilities and resources at very little price. Plus, there are sports here too.

Admission

You need to have a prior degree in B.Tech or Maths or Statistics. There is a process of admission which involves a written entrance exam and an interview round conducted by the panel in ISI. It is based on merit though.

Faculty is pretty cool. There are a lot of faculty who are focused on research work and dedicate their time for that and try to bring groundbreaking changes in the sectors. They are very qualified to be teaching.

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

Placments here are good , Reputed Companies here visit campus offering great packages like Asian paints and MRF. They also help student in preparing for the Placements by organizing variouas events and sessions

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

college provide good placements. Recently companies like deloite, paytm, zepto, agile, insplore and many more companies visited in campus. only 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. Average package company offered is 500000. as for internships only 5th semester in 2nd year are eligible for applying in internships.

The professors in my college are very supportive
There is many opportunities in every field of engineering
No crowded place professors support in projects and guides you to get better placement

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Likes

The opportunity of placements are very good.
Faculty is very helpful and strict at the same time.
The privilage of free treatments for students and their families.

Dislikes

The campus is small and no fests are there.
No canteen is there and only badminton court there .
Girls hostel is there but not so comfortable it is.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the best part of this whole course. Placements are provided vy the college, at the end of the course which is of duration of 4.5 years. The placements can be at Govt. Hospitals, like AIIMS.

Remarks:

Faculties of this institute are good and helps in understanding each and every thing clearly and also it is near to my house. Campus is also good with every facility that a student needs. This college also provide teaching material to students so that they can get their concepts clear even at the time of exams.

New course and new opportunities

I got a confirmed admission in iiit Kota (rajasthan) in artificial intelligence (AI) and in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh EAPCET. But I wanted to pursue my future in the mathematical field so I had joined in India statistical institute. I didn't get any rejection from other colleges and I just wanted to join in ISI. The admission process of my course first included the payment of an initial fee for accepting the seat. And anyone who passed 12th grade with a percentage of 75 or above with their main subjects. The exam is for 120 marks and it is only objective based and it consists of 30 questions each carrying 4 marks. And the cutoff depends on the category of the person.
