Lady Irwin College(LIC) is an all-girls college in the University of Delhi, established in the year 1932. the college offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Home Science. As the college comes under the University of Delhi, the admission procedure of UG, PG or Ph.D. programs is as per the University rules. The admission procedure is online, candidates seeking admission to Lady Irwin College in any program have to: Admission to LIC UG programs is based on the merit system. DU Cut Off releases in the middle of the month of June. Lady Irwin College Cutoff will be released on the centralized website as well as on the college website( http://www.ladyirwin.edu.in).

Admission to LIC PG programs is based on 50% of the merit system and 50% of DUET(Delhi University Entrance Test). To apply through merit system, a candidate should be: DUET is conducted by the centralized University, takes place in the first week of July. DUET Results are declared by the last week of July. Candidates need to qualify the minimum eligibility in the merit list or entrance cut off list. Candidates having scored equal or more than the eligibility set by the college can enroll their names in the concerned departments
The campus is located in the cultural hub of Delhi, which is Mandi house, connected with Mandi House Metro Station. The college hostel is considered as a home away from home by the students. The college offers accommodation facilities to up to 200 students who come from different corners of India and choose to study here. The hostel building is recently renovated with modern facilities, well-furnished, spacious rooms. College wifi connection can also be availed from the hostel itself. LIC Hostel admission is absolutely based on a merit basis, it charges around 45,000INR per year from each student.
