Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is research-oriented. The course focusses more on the practical application and less on the theoretical approach. We had to appear for exams on a regular basis. There were practical as well as written theory exams. Overall, the course curriculum was well planned.

Placement Experience

IIIT Pune is a newly established institution and its first batch completed graduation in 2020 only. There is a training and placement cell which provides guidance to students for career planning and personality development. It acts as the sole point of contact between the students and the industry. The training and placement cell provides internship opportunities to the students. The students get an internship in companies like Robert Bosch, TCS Innovation Lab, ezDI Inc, EC Kovation Solutions Pvt Ltd etc. The highest stipend paid to students was around 30,000 rupees per month. The average stipend was around 15,000 per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee charges are quite high. But it is among the 20 best colleges for engineering in India. The placement and other opportunities are so good that it is worth spending money here. The fee paid like a long term investment which would give high returns in future. The total fee for the entire course is around 5.5 lakh rupees per annum.

Campus Life

Since our college is working in a temporary infrastructure, the facilities are not the best but they are satisfactory. All the basic amenities like well-furnished classrooms, canteen, labs and medical facilities are available.

Admission

The admission in IIIT is granted on the basis of JEE Mains entrance exam. After clearing the entrance the candidates who meet the cut-off requirements are called for counselling sessions by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority. After clearing these two rounds the candidates are granted admission.

Faculty

The college faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields. Their teaching methods are based on practicals. They are cooperative and friendly with us. They are supportive too.

An Honest Review of My BSc Computer Science College Experience

Likes

The staff and faculty members are very supportive and good in nature.
Friendly student environment. Never heard of any ragging incident taken place.
They conduct Events, workshops, and different activities regularly and neatly.

Dislikes

Canteen food is limited and quality is average
Limited Campus placement opportunities and less industry experience
Lab equipment and resources needs to be improved,

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are limited in the college. A few companies visit during the final year, and students usually becomes eligible fromo the last semester. The packages offered are generally modest, mostly for entry-level roles. Only a small percentage of students get placed thorugh campus drives, while many prefer to apply off-campus for better opportunities. The college provides basic placement support such as info about job openings and guidance, but students need to build their own skills and prepare independently. After completing the degree, students prefer to pursue higher studied, professional courses, or entry-level IT jobs.

The reality check

Likes

The college professors are very particular about attendence and they will always keep there eye on your attendance and according to them attending is very important.
The college infrastructure is very good and there is vast space for students to chill and study library is also very spacious.
The teachers are always eager to solve our doubts and interact with us , the want the more and more students should approach them ask there doubts and discuss the syllabus etc.

Dislikes

I didn't like that sometimes over priority is given to the attendance I think a student can study well at his or her own sometimes only regularly attending lectures can't make you score more self study is important
The college don't have big ground earlier there used to be a big ground but it has gone for the construction work so, we only has a turf and a small ground.
The approach towards the teaching should be changed slightly and more practical based learning should be included.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement start from seventh semester and from third semester only students are enrolled in TPO Training and Placement Organisation where they train students withe various technical skills to acquire a good job. Various famous companies visit our college. Highest pakacge is of eight lakh per annum by Nice solutions. Percentage of student getting place on campus is less. After degree I will do a job.

Awesome college life during graduation

Likes

College was newly constructed so infrastructure was quite good.
Teacher's teaching was great as we were 3rd batch
Teacher's used to pay attention to every single students progress.

Dislikes

It was specifically much far from main city
Teacher's were very strict like used to call to parents if students are not present in class
Not much placement companies came to college. Placement rate was not so great

Placement Experience:

Placements for my college was not so good they had provided some companies which has came to take interviews but hardly fuse students got selected and higher number of students had place through consulting agency and they were place of campus even I also did not got placed through college and I had job through off campus. In all, 35 students have got placed via college placements and out of those hardly 20 students join the companies wear in they were placed.

Mit aoe has good faculties and teaching and academic are good enough
Not too crowded as intake is 1300 students of the college
Gender ratio is almost 4:3 as of my batch

Dislikes

Mit aoe Campus is very small hardly 4 to 5 acres
Mit aoe fees is costly comparitively to the other colleges
Mit aoe Campus is almost at the edge of pcmc makes hard for traveling to the main city

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible for internship from 2 nd year and about placement it is nice with the comparison to others like Sinhgad ,marathwada and alll companies like jsw,cisco ,eq technology and many more are visited in placement cell

No no college is really good and the no suggestion for that
The environment of the campus and the quality of infrastructure is a very much good that's for not a any solution for that
The professor and the staff of this Institute is very well educated and a experience that why no suggestion for this also

Nothing bad about this college it is an a good college that can provide the good opportunity for student

Yes there will be the good opportunity that can provided by the college many companies come in the college and they can over the placement for the students. What about the unplace student that can also doing good because they can take the education from the KK Wagh

Our course is the most important thing in learning and for growth, but the way my college is handling it , is far too better to be compared. Every week an exam is arranged for each chapters, Mcq's , theory and oral-based exams are arranged.

Likes

Staffs were quite supportive and helpful.
Good faculty. They helped throughout semester and taught well.
There were placements from beginning of 4th year. So, it was quite good for me.

Dislikes

I don't liked the college campus. It's under construction. Hope will become better some day.
No events , no tech fests. No excitement
Good companies offering higher packages not visited college.

Placement Experience:

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty provides proper and needed attention to all the students. The way of teaching of the faculty is highly appreciated. The teachers creates an attentive, interactive and lively environment and teachers along with real-life examples. Exams aren't that difficult to pass as the teachers make every subject and topics easy to understand and learn and pass the exams with ease.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra

Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.

My experience of iiit pune

I also applied to cse at IIIT jabalpur and allahbad, and chemical engineering at nit Warangal but I couldn't get a seat there. I was also getting ece in iiit jabalpur and cse in spit mumbai but I decided to take iiit pune cse over it.
