Remarks

Overall the college was pretty good had a great time being there, it helped a lot in the development of my career and more over my nature and character as a whole.College management though helpful was strict as well. Did not tolerate any nondisciplinary activities haven't come across any serious incident of ragging or harassment in the college ever.

Entrance Preview

Karnataka CET in year 2000, frankly I do not remember the score however during counseling I wished to select some old college which was providing computers as major. With my rank I was able to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was that designed by VTU. We were the 3rd batch of VTU and the curriculum was therefore pretty new however it wasn't too much of a burden for students

Internships Opportunities

There were companies like Tata and HAL that visited the college for internship and placements. The stipend did depend on the type of company and the type of project. Generally it ranged from 2k-3k.

Placement Experience

2.5

Ok ok the companies which visited for internship as well came for placements and also our college was visited by some startup companies also.

College Events

2.5

Apart from normal events during Independence day and Republic Day there were two more events conducted Fashion ShowAnnual Day. These events were participated by entire college students and teachers

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee was little higher for the then scenario. On an average a semester fee was around 30k. This included Tution fee development charges, lab charges, study material etc. Other miscellaneous expenses went up to 2k every semester. Also there was hostel charges (inclusive of mess fee) which was around 5k every semester (payable yearly)

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail or not aware of any scorlarship. Bank loans were available though which one could avail with easy rate of interest.

Campus Life

3

The life there was fun. Enjoyed to the core. Gender ratios was around 7:3. No demarcation basis religion or race or any other factors. Little cultural differences between students from different parts of country. However overall it was enjoyable.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities were very good, the cleanliness the availability of a doctor was there and the availability of telephone booth nearby (we did have mobile phones prevalent those days). Also public commutation was easily available. The food quality was OK it was veg food and cooking quality just nice however hygiene wasn't compromised.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors were very helpful throughout the session and even after that in terms of help in studies, projects and later job search. We have couple of groups in FB, LinkedIn and WhatsApp which still keeps us connected

Exam Structure

It was relaxed not very pressurizing to students. A six months semester had 3 internals and a main exam which consisted of theory exams and labs.

Faculty

3.5

I would rate them 6 out of 10. Good natured helpful however their teach skills could have been better. The methodology was age old and hence the problem. Innovative methods not encouraged

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is very good. We have excellent training placement cell. The faculty of the placement cell are very supportive and friendly with the students. They use their network to bring the reputated companies to the campus. The maintain the well bond with the companies. around 90% of the students are placed every year from every branch. Remaing 10% students are may be with blocks or any some other reasons. If the student doesnot get any placement in the campus, the campus offers the some jobs to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well-structured and covers all the important core subjects with useful practical labs. It is relevant for both industry and higher studies. Exams are conducted on time and are moderately easy. Adding more industry-oriented workshops and updated tools would make it even better. Overall, the course is clear, relevant, and helpful for future growth.
