BIT SINDRI is one the premiere government college of jharkhand. It is well know for its alma matter which are currently serving at top position in various fields. Moreover BIT SINDRI is ranked as a top college for return on investments. Studying at BIT SINDRI is quite economical and they have highly qualified and skilled professors. BIT SINDRI is the only government college in Jharkhand which is certified by NBA, incuded in ATAL INNOVATION list and much more.

Our course structure is made as per latest conventions of AICTE, and every year changes are made as per the industrial needs. At BIT SINDRI we are having SIEMENS labs which includes PLC labs, ROBOTICS labs, AUTOMATION labs. Moreover we have microprocessor lab, high tension lab, power system lab and much more. Most of our professors are from IITs and NITs, so each one of them are excellent in their field and highly qualified.

BIT SINDRI is well known for its alma matters. Companies visiting BIT SINDRI consists of core sector, IT sector as well as business consultation and Education sector. Companies includes TCS, WIPRO, VEDANTA, SAINT GOBEN, RELIANCE INDUSTRIES, ADITYA BIRLA GROUP, TATA STEEL, ZS ASSOCIATE, JINDAL STAINLESS LIMITED, ACC, BY JU'S etc. TCS is a mass recruiter and every year around 15 candidates get placed in it. Apart from TCS most of the candidates gets placed in PIN CLICK and SIFY.

Campus life in BIT SINDRI is quite exciting. Apart from the greenery that one can enjoy within the campus, college fests and events adds spices to the college life. BITANSH is the name for the annual cultural fest of the BIT SINDRI. It is cultural extravaganza which includes band performances, dance competitions and lastly a celeb night. Tech Udbhav, the techinal fest of BIT SINDRI is organised in the month of march and june helps in judging the technical minds on their creativity. Apart from technical events and cultural events, Sports meet of 5 days is also organised in BIT SINDRI to enhance sporting skills of the students.

Scholarship is provided to a student after he secures first position in the whole batch and branch. The scholarship amount varies year to year depending on the person who provides the scholarship amount. Apart from this scholarship amount is also provided to ST/SC candidates in terms of reduction in the tution fess.

BIT SINDRI spreads over 440 acres of land. It have one of the best infrastructure in Jharkhand. Renovation work is going on within the campus. BIT SINDRI have 29 hostels in total for students and Seperate buildings for each department with advance labs. BIT SINDRI have two sports ground for the students to have their physical activity. Gym facility is also available withing the college campus. A central canteen is also available for the students. BIT Sindri have one of the biggest library in Jharkhand.

In BIT SINDRI hostel facilities depends on the year in which you are. For first to second year students you will be getting a room with four other room partners. Size of the room is quite good for accomodating five students. In second year you will be getting a small room with one room partner. And in final year you will be geeting a single private room. Mess facility is available in the basement of each hostel. Conditions of hostels are quite good.
