I've gone through the EAMCET examination and came out with a good score of about 97/160. My fascination towards Electronics was the main reason that I chose instrumentation over other branches and coming to Andhra University was the best choice . As it is the most popular centre for excellence which stands in 11th position in india and in 151th position in the world.
Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects are divided into core and elective subjects and each of them is assigned with a few number of credits based on the importance and the depth of the subject .A minimum number of core and elective credits are to be completed within the four years to attain the Bachelors of Technology degree.
Internships Opportunities
Major part of the companies that offer internship are the software companies and they offer stipend over a wide range from 10000 to 15000 per month. The internship experience is very knowledgeable and we earn a lot as there is a lot of exposure to the practical world during these 2 months. Other core companies also do come for internship recruitments.
Placement Experience
Nearly 137 colleges are affiliated under Andhra university and the placement percentage is above 90. 14 core companies visited the campus along with numerous software companies and offered packages over a wide range from 3 lakhs to 20 lakhs per annum.
College Events
The technical and cultural fests are the best part of our college. Fests like IKHYA, ESPECTRA and many activities like AKSHAYA PATRA, EBIO, GISKON which always provide an opportunity for the students to think out of the box and act accordingly.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Scholarships are awarded to the people with low economical income and poor financial backgrounds. These scholarships help them to get the essential requirements to continue their studies without much difficulty.
Campus Life
The gender ratio has been improving over the years. It is almost 1:1 now and there is no gender bias in any aspect of the college. All sorts of discrimination are highly prohibited and you do not even feel the difference of religion or race when you spend the time with the friends in the college. Hostel parties are organised during certain special occasions or during the fests to celebrate and bring the sense of togetherness among the students in the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Recently we had an alumni meet in our college where the old students who graduated from our college came and addressed themselves and shared their experiences. Coming to our seniors, they are always there to help us in need also guide us regarding our studies and any other matter that bothers us in the college.
Exam Structure
The schedule of examinations, labs, workshops is well organised in our college. There are mid term exams end term exams, assignments etc but we never feel hectic and strained as we learn and do everything in the college itself.

Placement Experience
Students from the final year are eligible for the campus placements. To date, two batches have passed out of IIT Tirupati. Last year the highest package was around 43 lakhs, and the average package is approximately 13 lakhs per annum. Various companies, including Amazon, Microsoft, Tata, Wipro, L&T, Bosch, etc., have attended campus placements to recruit students. The institute has a placement percentage of 92%.

After completion of the 3rd year, 1st semester students are eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies are interested in recruiting students from vignan. Famous companies like TCSION, INFOSYS, HTML offers a minimum package of 300000 and a maximum of 1500000.

Placements for conducted pretty well some come best companies like TCS it is IBM came to give placements and so many people what placed I think around 300 people got placed in TCS and some few small companies also came and so many of us got placement in the campus itself.

It is famous college in prakasam district. And the infrastructure of the college is also very nice.and it has qualified lecturers. And very convenient with the timings of the college.and study also very efficient with the qualified faculty and having convenient labs with qualified technicians. Due to these reasons i selected this college

Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Tech Mahindra, amararaja batteries Thermax systems, Genpact, Glenwood systems, CGI, TCS, etc. The highest package offered is 10.4 lakhs by Qualcomm company and the average package is about 2.8lpa. Nearly 60+plus companies visit every year. Nearly 90% of students will be placed and the rest of the people will opt for higher studies and entrepreneurs. I will go for higher studies

There are so many companies visited our college but I am a mechanical engineer so I didn't interest in placements I looked for govt jobs TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, paragon, JCB, etc soo many high profile companies visited there and also my college providing CRT classes

Negative is still the permanent campus is in ongoing construction.At present we are in transit campus which is spread in 30 acres. Positives are there will be no dressing code in our college.You can wear any type of dress.There will be no one to question you.
