Remarks

I got this college via CSAB, the special round of JEE councilling. I chose this college because at that time, this was the best choice that i was being offered. i always wanted to pursue IT and computer science.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum : our college follows IIT's Refined course curriculum which not only involves theory and practicals, but also practicum. in this the students are taught, how to be all round engineers by building devices, and programming IC's, disassembling and assembling of electric devices, and also reverse engineering which are not generally taught in many colleges.most of faculties are friendly with all students to promote in their field like as Grewal sir is best faculty in electrical part of the course.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 107000 per year

IIIT Una has an active placement cell that initiates a smooth placement process. It provides a platform to facilitate interaction between students and companies. So, both can find a perfect match as per their requirements. Technical: we've had many technical events.like Game of Codes(currently going on), Coderation and other coding events local to our college.Cultural: Cultural activities like Safarnama, Online Debate contest (War of Words) etc were conducted last year.Sports: We had Inter-Branch Sports meet and also actively Participated in Inter-IIIT sports meet 2019 along with a small sports day event.

Campus Life

It's satisfactory as we are currently living in our transit campus at Una. But mostly all the basic needs are kept in mind by our really helpful and hardworking Director sir. Sports facilities for Cricket, Badminton, Football, Volleyball, Tabletennis are available. we have active athletics team with talented players too. wifi is 100mbps and has enough bandwidth to cover hostel grounds completely. also Administration building has wifi facilities. Library is Sufficiently large and contains all course related books.Lab equipments are extremely good and efficient equipment.

Very supportive atmosphere for growth in any engineer branch

Dislikes

Lack of auditoriium so most of gathering will be in open air theatre

A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.

Likes

HODs of the college are good and well experienced as they are retired or done there masters from government colleges
Principle is also highly educated and good human being

Dislikes

They take lot of fees and not provide quality education
The infrastructure is bad and poor , no mentainance at all
Charge unnecessary fee , no computer lab , poor library, poor labs no equipment

They just teaches you to complete the syllabus only There are 1,2 term exams (MST) in a semester Honestly they repeats the PYQ but they fail all the students except few who gave answers in class and are their favourite

Campus is very good and nice view from college

Very slow wifi speen and only 1 gb per day

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

Likes

The faculty and staff are well qualified appx. all are phd .
The junior senior interaction is good .
There is good coding culture and all senior all helpful .

Dislikes

Area of college is 15 km from una city .
The curriculum us hectic in each semester it has atleast 6 subject.

Placement Experience:

My college offer above good placement . About 85-90% of the eligible student get placed with median package of 9 lakh and average of 11 lakh . Our placement incharge is Nistha Hooda. Highest placement is of 60 lakh and minimum is 4 lakh

The college campus is a pretty nice place to explore and it's beauty will make sure to bring you close to nature
Noone can get bored by the interesting assignments you get during your course

Dislikes

Many of the infrastructure and basic requirements are lacking
There can be more educational tours for students
More attention needs to be paid towards the career guidance

Everyone know that agriculture is of great importance and it's worth is increasing on a daily basis and opting for this course helps to learn various scientific methods to allow in the improvement of the traditional farming methods. With the help of agriculture extension.. these technologies are provided and being taught to different farmers and stakeholders. This course also allows us to get the practical knowledge by different field works.

i like availability of nice infrastructure amid the beautiful valley of shimla and also practical knowledge as heavy flow of patients is there.
a lot of patients are there thats why easy for students to access things
faculty is also nice they are doctors so learning from their experience come in handy

Dislikes

cafeteria needs to improve as there is no availability of variety in food
some people tend to take upper hands because of authority
due to large batch size some students tend to be hidden among masses

I loved the beautiful view out here the different varieties of flowers, Greenery , this university also held many kinds of club like socal club, eco friendly club and many more
I like that this university always take care about nature beauty they grow many trees for oxygen
They also serve society provide basic needs to poor people also running a club for poor people donate them food, shelter and clothes

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty of this university like they never co-operate with childrens they come and complete their duties and go
They only take care about there repo they don't care about students here half of the boys drink alcohol they just ignore them and move to next
Teacher have no sense of talking with students they behave like trash I'm very disappointed with this university at first they show their image like a clear paper but after entering there i came to know the real image of this university

Course curriculum is zero they never show any kind of efforts in teaching our exams were going on and one subject teacher just send notes and said Learn it and write exams like she never attended class not even one class business studies teacher just come teach give homework and go and next day come and ask questions if students don't know answer just say them to get out from the class is this the way to talk with students they are not their servents never ask if they have any kind of doubts and maths teacher just write question and their solution and read that solution students come here to learn something but they behave like trash

I like the campus, there is greenery all over the campus.
Sports and cultural clubs and the festivals
very good wifi facility in the campus. And good gender ratio in institute

Dislikes

Climate is hot during summer. But winters are appreciable
Mess food is not good that much.. but we can eat.
Sometimes in hostel there is non availability of water . In bathrooms

I chose this course because it has more scope in India as India is a developing country. It also has government jobs more than other fields. We can shift to it sector this is the flexibility of this course.
