Remarks

I choose this college because :1. Institute of national importance2. Top reputed college in India3. Renowned nationally4. Under jee counseling5. Offereing course of my choice Indian institute of information technology Una is established by MHRD under Public private partnership venture established in 2014 and has gain a lot recognition in india. This college is primarily focussing on practical experience or learning of engineering subject and has the best faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am currently in 2nd year of my undergrad so I can tell the experience of that. The course curriculum designed in such a way that students not only gets theoritical but also the practical knowledge of subject. The focus on applications part is bit more and teacher make sures that student should apply the learning in the real world. About industrial exposure in starting of a batch they take students to various industries to give them basic knowledge of it and in 6th semester is Fully planned for the industrial exposure for students. Time to time various seminar and lecture are conducted by industrial expert's. Faculties are good have appropriate knowledge of subject and what the today's industries are demanding. The faculty I am impressed by is Dr. GS Grewal he is a faculty of electrical engineering had done his pg from canada. He along with the subject include the industrial touch to the topic and shares his experience.

Placement Experience

4

Various companies visits college during placement session example jio, tcs, wipro etc. students with metting requirements gets jobs as I am in 2nd year I don't have enough knowledge about placement but I have heard from seniors the placements are good and improving every year as college progressing.

College Events

4

As we are living in transit campus and I am in 2nd year considering campus life is good, event organisation is smooth, extra curricular activities are little bit lacking I will say as students can independently organize activities and take part in it

Fees and Financial Aid

O have not taken loan but at the time of admission their have 2-3 banks at campus which willw provide loan to you in second as it is national level institutions

Campus Life

Currently IIIT UNA is running in the transit campus in una as permanent campus is on construction mode. The facilities in transit campus is also good proper wifi facilities is available. Library size is I think 70-80 students Labs are Fully functional with modern technology equipment which costs in lacks. For sports facilities I think it's lacking a little bit as it's a Transit campus the cricket ground is too small other indoor sports facilities are great. It has small football ground, good basketball court only 2 badminton courts rest are good

Hostel Facilities

Yes I live in hostel. Hostel room is quite good with 4 person with atteched washroom and a pleanty of space is leftover after 4 person. The cost of hostel with mess facilities is around 20 k which is according to your per plate cost. It's easy to avail hostel facility because I think it's mandatory.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
