Remarks

Mainly I came to know that highly qualified teachers conduct classes effectively throughout the year. Teachers are always in touch with the guardians of the students through telephone calls and Parent-Teacher Meets organized by each department. Attendance is compulsory. As a result we always end up with good academics, with outstanding results in the University Examinations. Along with this the curriculum activity is also the best. So I chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers in our college have good knowledge. Most of them have completed their PhDs, and this helps us in getting the best from our teachers. They help us in every possible way during our examinations. We also get good industrial training from them.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 74000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

The 80% students got placed. The highest package offered was 9lpa and the lowest package offered was 3lpa. There were many IT companies including Infosys, Accenture, cognizant etc. The top roles offered were software developer, technical support engineer etc.

College Events

4.5

Various fests are arranged by the seniors and faculties as well. However academics are given more importance than cultural events. Technical hackathons are arranged. We get certificates and awards for the participation and winners.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed scolarship for OBC category. This scholarship allowed me to pay half fees. These scolarships vary from category to category.

Campus Life

For each division we have separate classrooms with LCD projectors, OHPS and spacious well equipped laboratories for each department. There was a facility of Wi-Fi. The quality of food was good. There were two main canteen inside the campus only, one for boys and other for girls. There is a hostel inside the campus

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available for Boys & Girls in the campus. The rooms are self-sufficient with 24 Solar system for hot water, water purifiers for drinking water and cupboards in addition to the attached washrooms. Also we have Canteen facility in the campus, providing lunch and dinner. Along with this there are Cafeteria, Juice bar and Chaat centre for breakfast items.

Hostel Fee: INR 45000 per year

College Review

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

SDA Bocconi Asia Center, IMB ( International Masters in Business)

Reviewed on May 3, 2020

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.

Review of SITS, Narhe.

1) As I wasn't scored good enough in JEE so I couldn't get admission top engineering collges that time. Sinhgad Institute was good option for me because it's renowned institute in Pune and also has good placement record compared to other collges like JSPM, AISSMS etc. 2) Yes I got rejected from many institutes such as VIT, PICT, PCCOE due to low scores in entrance. 3) Admission procedure for college is according to guidelines given by State common entrance test cell. You have to appear for either JEE or State CET to be eligible for admissions....Read More
