Remarks

This is one of the best colleges of Gujarat. I has been ranked 7 under all the colleges of Gujarat Technological University. There are 7 courses of Engineering that are provided by this college. The Computer department is one of the new brances. It has been only 5-6 years of establishment of this branch but within this short span the department has made it's influence all over Gujarat. The on campus placements offered by this college is one of the best in the state.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are very well structured and are prescribed by Gujarat Technological University. The academic plan of college is quite impressive with all the necessary programs scheduled throughout the 4 years. The Computer department faculties start teaching from the second year and are very encouraging. The first year faculties are from Applied science and humanity department. They are quite strict about the attendance of students through the semester. The HOD of computer department Neha Ma'am is very much supportive to her students.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 37000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college has a very well established training and placement cell. They schedule pre placement Interviews and group discussion sessions from the third year itself to make us prepared for various interviews. The expert talks from various industry experts are also arranged to help us prepare better for getting into the corporate world. The computer department placement ratio is very good in this college. Around 80% student sitting for placements get hired. TCS is most actively hiring the computer department students.

College Events

Campus life is pretty good. Campus is huge and nice. College has got pavilion, garden, canteens, football ground. There are so many activities that happsnes in campus. Campus if full of trees. 3 main festivals take place. Apart from that days celebration, navratri and Ganesh Chaturthi are also being celebrated

everything you need to know about BKSPMS(gia)

Likes

the fee structure of the mba is very less compared to the other colleges
good classmates because people come from cmat and topppes only get admission
placements are good if you are satisfied with 6/7 lakhs a year

Dislikes

infrastructure of the campus is very poor
the faculties are average except one two, more from a teaching bg rather than corporate experience.
for me the average package is less, and some people also left by getting placed

Placement Experience:

good placements, avg is 6.5/7 ctc and in hand avg goes arounf 5 lpa, highest 17 lpa, lowest 4 lpa, median should be around 5 lpa, this is as per my batch(batch 23-25) it is similar in other batches and 80/90% students get placed easily if they are good and the placement cordinator also try to get the rest placed where the batch have achieves 100% almost every year. there are options after college if you dont get placement from college because it is core mba with subjects marketing finance and hr.

The SVIT journey

I applied in PDPU(PDEU) and Lj university ahmedabad. I chose this college because 1) It is one of the best and renowned college inour region 2)The feels is comparatively too less.Yes my application in Nirma University(ahm) got rejected because i couldn't clear the cutoff of CSE of that college. The admission process in SVIT is simple you if youre alloted seat through ACPC or you need to visit the campus for management quota. The exams required here are 12th PCM and GUJCET or JEE.The exam most preferred here is GUJCET as it is simpler than JEE the cutoff of SVIT for CE was 7000 rank (GUJCET) this year....Read More
