Remarks

1) Decent reviews. 2) Climate of Dehradun.3) Affordable fees.4) Not too far from home.5) Always wanted to go out of my town for higher studies.6) Dehradun is a quite peaceful city.7) Make new friends.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is more theory-oriented. Most of the faculty of the college is good and supportive. Attendance requirement is minimum 75 percent and the college gives most emphasis on that. There is a provision of paying fine in case your attendance is much below 75 percent or u have to compensate by doing extra assignments. The faculty is really helpful and u can go to them any time to get your queries/doubts sorted. The management of this college is not so good. Overall, if u attend the college on a regular basis, submit the assignments on time and involve in club activities, and stay out of fights you'll hardly find yourselves in trouble. Also the climate and tourist attractions of this place can help you relax on weekends and chill with your friends.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 445000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Intern at Sharekhan by BNP Paribas. No stipendIt was a Work from home internship due to Covid-19.

Placement Experience

3.5

Decent companies visit the campus for placemets including FMCGs, BFSI sector companies, IT companies.More of the companies come for the Marketing profile. Not sure whats happens in 2021 as the economy has taken a devastating blow from the pandemic.

College Events

GoodDecent events with Manfest being the annual event which is celebrated with gr8 enthusiasm and zeal.Lots of competitions and talent rounds with cash rewards and much more. You'll definetly enjoy the events.Extra curricular activites include club activities, thursday activities, sports.

Fees and Financial Aid

No.Scholarships are given if u have scored a minimum 75 percentile in CAT and 90 percentile. For more info u can visit the official websiteIn case You don't scholarship from college, you can for govt scholarships with proper documents.

Campus Life

Average. It is a small green campus with multiple places to hangout or study. There are 3 canteens, college mess, Girls hostel and boys hostel too( only for PGDM students). For the students belonging to other programmes, the hostel is 6 km from campus with bus facility. There are smart classes which have room for 70-80 students and are equipped with ACs n all.If you have done your graduation from colleges with infra in acres of land. You'll hardly find the campus here attractive.

Hostel Facilities

No.But i will share the experience of some of my friends who have taken the hostel facility1) The college hostel is not so good and they have a lot of restrictions.2) The food of the mess is not very good(but hey u can't expect home like food)3) Issues with warden and have to pay fine if u get late and failed to enter the campus on/before the alloted time.

Hostel Fee: INR 111000 per year

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

Likes

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.
