I gave AIEEE back in the days, and filled the form alongside for DTU .I opt this college because it is the best college for mechanical engineering and also because it is in Delhi.

The course curriculum is good, much theory but changes over time. That is the courses offered are revised over period of time, shifting the trend of learning with the time requirement. Also the basic courses remains same that is the basic mechanical engineering subject but as we reach in 3rd and final year we have options to choose subjects which are much new and relevant to the modernization of technology in this date.

The internship program starts in 3rd year although there is no restriction participating in internship before. The internship provided by the college require good grades, but if you dont have that. College provides internship letter, which by the way is real easy to grab and get signed.

Placement and Job opportunities are excellent. The placement statistics are high. Highest packages in mechanical goes to 10 lacs and overall in college reaches to 60 lacs. Companies like google microsoft comes for selection. Not only this student achieve great deal of marks in exams like GATE CAT GRE if they wanna study further.

Fee structure is chill, the tuition fee when i joined was like 50k for a year.

I do not have any idea about this but i am sure there are some. While admission there are booths for the study loan by the banks. Also there are some scholarship programme.

Campus life is great as there are many students, if you walk in the campus it doesnt feel like a technical college much diversity in origin and thinking of students. Gender ratio is good not that bad.the college has a great sports complex, no swimming pool though. The labs are good, but not maintained in the sense that every lab has new machines but only few rest are either old or are broken.

There are many alumni meets, also the senior junior interaction are good. If one is social i have to say that the seniors really prove to be helpful.

There are 2 exams per semester. The Mid sem and the End sem. Mid semester exam are the small 1:30 hrs exams carrying 20% weightage .End semester exam are long 3:00 hrs exam carrying 70% weightage rest 10% is for the attendance and assignment submission, which by the way is taken seriously here in DTU.
