P. E. S Modern College of engineering is reknown college in Pune. Placement rates are also satisfactory. In addition to this college provides good education and facilities. Faculty members are very concerned about studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are well qualified and possess great experience. Majority of them have doctorate degrees from reputed international and national institutes. Minor and Honor courses are designed to make students industry ready by providing added technical knowledge, coding, finance etc. Research oriented teaching is lacks in almost every stream.

Class Size: 59Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

Around 72% students in CS IT, ENTC streams get placed. Where as placements in other streams are relatively lower. The lowest placement is of B.Tech Planning, in which only 2 to 5 students got on campus placements last year in IT service based companies.

College Events

The two main events, named Karandak and Mpulse, are organised at our college with a lot of enthusiasm. Its a rather simple, the campus life here, not too crowdy as I have seen in other colleges. for sports there is nothing provided. but the labs and rest are great. They conduct many competition within and outside college premises which is great.

Campus Life

Our college provides spacious labs and classrooms. Labs are air-conditioned. The library is very good with good schemes and a good collection of education as well as non-education books. Our college also provides a gymkhana for students. Food served in the canteen is not all expensive.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

Placement Experience:

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.

I have applied for two other colleges like Rajarshi Shahu College of engineering tathawade, pimpari chinchvad and trinity academy of engineering,saswad pune . Which i denied because their low placement and average package , curriculum and faculty . I didn't get rejection from those colleges , i personaly denied the college.
