Remarks

Education is top notchFaculties are highly knowledgeable and friendlyThe only problem are the washrooms

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is pretty similar to mba. After mcom one can either write NET exams and qualify as assistant professor or continue to do PhD or take up a few civil exams or join a private firm.People think there aren't many options after doing Mcom but it wrong One has to just do a deep research.

Placement Experience

2.5

Very few people take up mcom Hence our college has a low strength which a strength in itself for both students and teachers with learning and teaching.Due to low numbers they don't conduct any placements but our lecturers to recommend us to many places be it for job or internships.

College Events

3.5

A lot of inter college events happen and our teachers are very supportiveVinyas is our college event consisting of two days But there will be one or the other small programs and events happening every once in one or two months.I personally like essay competitions and debate

Fee Structure And Facilities

Depends. I had written bcu entrance examFor mcom and secured a good ranking.25 seats will be allocated to students who have written such entrance examIf one gets qualified and gets a seats then the fees will be half of what you'll end up paying through management kota.I paid 28k per year( 2 semesters)70k under management kota

Fees and Financial Aid

Karnataka e pass is an scholarship for college studentsEveryone under obc category can apply.I got to know about this through my classmates

Campus Life

Girls are in larger number compared to boys.Extracurricular activities which happen are mostly indoors. However there will be a 3 day sports programs every year in which everyone can take part.It has both solo and group competitions. But it will be held for pg and ug members together

Hostel Facilities

I am born and brought in Bangalore. My college is pretty close to my house and metro is an added facility which makes traveling everyday much easier. Hence i don't have the need to live in an hostelNo i dont live in hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors come to our class rooms on the first day and give us an insight about the next two years which we will be spending

Admission

Was always interested in pursuing higher studies in commerce field, therefore when i got a good ranking in bcu entrance exam. I choose vijaya college as it was both affordable and close to where I live.First year of mcom starts around in the month of August and admission takes place in July.

Faculty

5

Our mcom college consists of four full time professors and one outside faculty for information technology. All the lectures are friendly and help us with informing about not just mcom exams but also civil and other exams and job opportunities. They are also available after hours to us

Course Curriculum Overview:

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom because I was a commerce student in my PUC, and I wanted to master in the same field. This course has shaped my knowledge on accounts and finance which has been some sort of a passion for me. Accounts, tally, finance, are the studies that are to be applied by anyone who's working with numbers, finances or in banks, account sectors etc which I'm doing currently, and it has really helped me a lot. The only improvement in this course that I seek is practical applications and workshops that would definitely help students enhance their skills.

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is holistic science in total to study about. Ayurveda helps us a lot when it comes to the application and clinical practice point of view. Ayurveda aims at mainly "Swasthasya swasthir rakshanam, athurasya vikar prashamanam" our entire curriculum is based on the aim of ayurveda which states protecting the health of a healthy person and also reversing the pathology of the diseased individual. Ayurveda mainly aims at the Doshas(vatta, pitta and Kapha) to treat the pathology and also to maintain the health of the healthy person. Ayurveda language is sanskrit so 1st year Sanskrit should be learnt properly. The term vise examination and periodic assessment are helping us to revise and learn the concept better.

The college is pretty much affordable and the quality of teaching is also good. On top of that, the faculty was vell qualified.
