Remarks

So I have sighted evry thing good here few bad points as well it is far from city approx 25 KM which turns to be bad in case of emergency. Placements are good but obviously because of More students Opportunity gets less so u have to settle with whatever you are getting

Course Curriculum Overview

Masters is totally different from bachelor's extra long classes so many subjects and extra curricular activities are done. But in IBS there was another thing called case study based learning wherein Case study was written by various PhD scholars and other professors based on their research and published by the college which was given to us with was discussed in the classes.

Placement Experience

4

Both of them was College provides ample of Opportunities. I must say every MBA college in India has Intake batch capacity of 250-300. In IBS every year 1200-1300 students are taken in every batch and placing 1200 Management students is not an easy task.Even for Internship they call there Alumni who are doings job in good companies to give opportunities to their juniors. I got an Internship opportunity in my Senior owned Start up which is very well known now in Real estate Industry.

College Events

5

We have a huge campus wherein only for Management at least 2500 students live so various clubs and societies are formed related to evry sphere you name it and it is already therebfor there Trekking club fashion society analytics club Societies related to domain of study HR MARKETING FINANCE clubs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I will consider Fees a little high since belonging to a middle class family and spending 18 lacs for MBA is costly but nonetheless Who is selling MBA for less but when you will calculate 16 lacs includes your 2 years tution fee books hostel fees Mess fees and every facility you are availing in college. also no other Fees is taken for Internship and Placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

I took loan from Hdfc credila since my loan amount was high and I had nothing to mortgage this was the only option available. All other financer was giving loan on Interest rate of 8-9% but with mortgage. I had to take it on rate of 11.25% from HDFC CREDILA without any mortgage.

Campus Life

Gender ratios is almost equal no biasness is done anywhere. Everything is built like swimming pool tennis courts basket ball court canteens gardens library Auditorium and they have specially designed classes the staircase one 1 class has seating capacity of 90 students.

Hostel Facilities

Residing in college Hostel is compulsory for MBA students in IBS Hyderabad. Everybody gets single room facility with no air conditioner or cooler. Though Hyderabad weather is always pleasant. They have huge hostels with common Areas Washroom and Washing Machine. Parlour is made inside Hostel on paid basis. There is night canteen available inside hostels till 12am.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes it does every year the Alumni Cell conducts Nostalgia which is for Alumni they come and give Industry insights to juniors and this goes on every year.

Admission

I have IBSAT exam which is taken by ICFAI University for the all the campuses across the country which was the first step after clearing that I was selected for next round which was GD Round and PI round. After both there was a merit list prepared on the basis of 10th 12th GD and Interview Scores and as per percentile scored campuses where alloted. I scored 94 percentile so was selected for Hyderabad Campus which is the Main Campus where in I enrolled in MBA the main difference in campuses are only Hyderabad campus offers MBA others offer PGPM and PGDM.

Faculty

4

Faculty was really amazing as most of them was PHD scholars from same college and has very fresh knowledge of the industry. Also for practical subject like Sales they had professionals who had 15-20 years of Sales experience and now wanted to reach Students same

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Students become eligible from semester 6 to get placed I guess I'm not sure . Hp, Hul, Deloitte etc are the companies that come in. Highest package is around 58 lakhs after doing mba and the average package is around 10.5 to 11 lakhs. 95% of the students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is work for a couple of years maybe.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
