My journey at CMRIT

The admission process was smooth and well organized. Our college has experienced faculty and the quality of teaching is amazing. They'll provide special coaching to students if required. They'll guide you to do extra projects and also participate in various competitions. It has a pretty good infrastructure. It consists of a canteen, food stalls, basketball court, a huge ground, gym and library. We have a huge auditorium and seminar halls as well. They provide placement training for a month during the start of each semester and companies start flowing in by the beginning of 4th year. There are so many technical and cultural clubs in CMRIT that students can engage in. They also encourage you with sports and other extracurricular activities and not just academics. If you're looking for a college that has a great balance then this would be a perfect choice. I enjoyed my college life here and I'm so glad I chose CMR Institute of technology. Overall, It was a wonderful experience.

I chose EEE because I was fascinated with the subjects. There are 2 sections in our department consisting of about 50 -55 in each section and around 30 teaching faculty and other non teaching and lab assistants as well. All lecturers are very experienced and hold minimum of masters degree in the field of their specialization. They follow a very simple but effective method of teaching. They also provide with notes and other materials useful for exams and help us prepare from exam point of view as well. We have 3 internals per semester which is pretty easy to score and one final examination.

The campus placements at CMRIT are really good and they promise 100% placement. Campus recruitment starts by the beginning of 7th semester and goes on till mid of 8th semester. Mostly IT companies come during 7th semester and few core companies come during 8th semester. Trainings will be given and tests will be taken to analyze our strengths and weaknesses. The starting package is from 3.5 LPA and highest is 18 LPA.

Fee structure depends on the mode of admission. They give scholarships to department toppers and other financial assistance are also provided if required which again depends on certain policies. At the beginning of 4th year campus recruitment begins and college brings in a huge number of companies mostly IT and few core companies as well. They promise 100% placement at CMRIT.

Every year around Feb - March we conduct Cultura, which is our techno - cultural fest. It is a 2 day fest with so many technical and cultural events planned. It starts around 9 in the morning and ends by 10 - 10.30 in the night. We get DJ's from different countries for the fest. We also have ethnic days, one during even semester and other during odd semester. Other technical events are conducted under IEEE and IE students chapter. Library is very well equipped and contains all the books prescribed by the university. Every week many events will be conducted under various technical and cultural clubs.
