Remarks
It's nearness to Vadodara is a major reason of selecting this college additionally the college provides bus facilities at a cost of 8,600/- per semester which is affordable to me. I am very much interested in sports and this college supports and encourages students to take more and more participation in sports fields. College actively takes part in all the sports events organised by GTU. The college infrastructure is very well established and the natural environment is very peaceful.The college gives good placement to the computer students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is as prescribed under GTU curriculum. It was last updated in the year 2018. A minor modification of subjects and chapters took place in this year which has divided the students into two categories old admissions and new admissions. In the first year there is not much industrial exposure given as the main subject of the branch are taught. In the 2nd/3rd year enough industrial exposure is provided to the students. In the computer departments all the faculties are very much co-operative. Especially our HOD Neha Soni is very much encouraging and friendly person.
Placement Experience
In our computer department last year 47 companies visited and these included companies like Infosys and TCS. TCS hired most of the students (around 40 placements). Most of the computer dept. students do not sit in the placements as they want to pursue further studies that is why those who sit in the placements easily grab one or the other. There is a good alumni network in our college. They are even in touch with our HODs and faculties. No there is nothing like job referral as far as I know. There are no famous startups yet.
College Events
There are basically three fest in our college 1. Malhar is our college annual day for (cultural programs, Expert talks and annual prize distribution) 2. Vision is our Inter departmental technical fest (different departments organises various tech and non-tech events in which almost the whole college participates) 3. Prakarsh is our National college festival (Technical event where students from the whole nation comes and participates, The meal and lodging facilities are provided)
Campus Life
Sports facilities are excellent, Our college has won tons of trophies in the field of sports. Our Principal sir encourages active participation in sports and the sports coordinator Vikash agarwal is also very much motivating. Wi-Fi is very weak. There is a special Wi-fi availability to college staff which has good network speed but the password for the same is not provided to the students.
