Remarks

This college offers one of the best placements among all the state level colleges of Gujarat. The Students having passed out from this college have successfully established their careers in abroad. The college has on campus placement facilities. The college faculties are highly educated. The college is around 50 mins from Vadodara city. It's suitable for any student coming from the Vadodara city. The college has completed 21 years sucessfully. It's renowned for it's academics as well as sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is a compulsory 75% attendance rule in each semester. Students have to satisfy this criteria in order to sit for the mid and end semester examinations. The college is very strict regarding this thus ensuring that the students don't bunk the lectures. The course is prescribed by Gujarat Technological University and can be found at this website: gtu.ac.in.Every update on courses and syllabus are mentioned timely by the GTU. Many Industrial trips are organised by the college to give the industry exposure to SVITians. Our computer department facilities are very supportive.

Placement Experience

The placement in computer department are quite amazing. Almost every student sitting for the interview bags a placement with a good package. The pre placement Interviews and group discussion and coding rounds for practice of students are organised by the college training and placement cell to get the best out of the students. Many students don't sit for the placement as they plan to study further or go for government jobs. The companies like Mindtree, Promact infotech, Tata Consultancy services, Infosys, Larsen and Turbo visit our college quite frequently and hire a large group of students. The alumni are personally connected to their faculties,no strong alumni network.

College Events

There are many festivals celebrated every year in our college. Almost all the hindu festivals are celebrated. There are 2 fest and one annual day Malhar celebrated every year at SVIT. Malhar marks the cultural programs and annual appreciation ceremony. The 2 fests include Vision our Inter-departmental fest in the month of September and Prakash our College National technical fest in the month of March. Many students from our college as well as other colleges come and participate in our events and take the experience and joy out of it.

Industry Oriented Learning at SBS

Likes

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

The campus is located far from central ahmedabad along the SP Ring road.
In Monsoon season very difficult to reach at college

The faculty members are helpful and explain the topics in a simple and practical way.

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.

Balanced College Life with Good Academics

Likes

The faculty is supportive and explains concepts in an easy way, Which helps beginners understand subjects clearly.
Campus life is enjoyable with events, activities, and good interaction among students.
Infrastructure like classrooms, labs, and library is decent and useful for learning.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ITM (SLS) Baroda University are good and improving. Students usually bescome elgible from the final year/last semster. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and other local companies visit the campus. the average pacakge is aroung 2-4 LPA, and the highest package can go higher depending on skills. A good number of students get placements, especiaaly those with strong skills and preparation. The college also supports students with training and guidence.

In this year college fatality are included so I like this like sports ground, gym etc
Education are given by very well educated professional
College campus are very good, also College canteen are good.

Dislikes

Mess are not good in this college so I don't like this
Also if I order some food from out side some restriction are present
Also in hospital heater are not present also other instruments are also not present

I choose this because I want to be doctor in my family because no one is doctor in my full family. I just want to be doctor. I study for this course sens 11 th but I don't get college in 12 th pass because neet mark are not good. In mbbs you should study regularly so you can pass all exams ezely. Mainly difficulty are not fix all time .

All over infrastructure of college is good compare to other gmers college
Campus is also good and big there is more number of trees so you feel fresh everyday
They provide 24 hour reading room and libarry so you can read in comfortable environment

Dislikes

Canteen is small comapre to student rush and food is also okay okay
Hostel facility needs improvement and proper cleanliness missing
College function are not good compare to other gmers like annual and all

Mbbs is like dream for many here you learn practical life from hospital also u can see patient live from the 2nd year itself from postings through posting is not compulsory here and they do not provide attention but in intership you gain too much real world knowledge

I like special a our clg teacher that can guidess a student properly and regularly takes a class and labs we have best lab and have a good furniture and have aour clg big campus sand most of students got placements so and clebrat e function regulary
We have a 25 faculties that's are good knowledge and very impotantly we got our classrooms furnitures are very good I specially like it and have clean bathrooms and have gardens are very big so we can easily playing in this and we have large parking
Our clg provide sa good placements after graduation most of students are happily got their jobs and feel proud our clg are regulary celebrate all functions and students are also good s we have a big building in clg we have mineral water facilities

In our clg most of students get placement so have in big companieslike sun pharma cipla zydus etc and our clg also takes student to visit a companies in and get a highest package10 lakh and avg package is 3 lakh per annum

I applied in PDPU(PDEU) and Lj university ahmedabad. I chose this college because 1) It is one of the best and renowned college inour region 2)The feels is comparatively too less.Yes my application in Nirma University(ahm) got rejected because i couldn't clear the cutoff of CSE of that college.The admission process in SVIT is simple you if youre alloted seat through ACPC or you need to visit the campus for management quota.The exams required here are 12th PCM and GUJCET or JEE.The exam most preferred here is GUJCET as it is simpler than JEE the cutoff of SVIT for CE was 7000 rank (GUJCET) this year....Read More
