Remarks
As the college is one of the oldest in this field, so it has good alumni association and scholarship fund. Even the college organises various events and fest like Encarta, Innovarions, etc.Overall, extracurricular activities conducted are not great here and needs a lot of improvement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers in Mechanical engineering department are helpful and well qualified. The course curriculum here is relevant but can be improved to provide students with the knowledge required to survive in the outside world. The teaching quality is good.
Placement Experience
On average, all mining students get placed with a good salary package. Even CS and IT students get a good placement with good salary packages. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are JSW, JK, UltraTech, etc. Generally, students with more than 7 CGPA get a good internship in companies like L&T, IITs, etc. The college has GATE and IES toppers.
College Events
The infrastructure if Mechanical department is well maintained. Wi-Fi is also provided in classrooms to students. But the hostel infrastructure is not good and needs maintenance. Sports facilities are also not good.
Campus Life
MBM doesn't have much good infrastructure. Facilities are provided to students, but they don't take classes regularly. The college has a good Wi-Fi connection and library. Even hostel has ethernet somehow. There are labs and classes in horrible condition. The food served in the hostel is average and worth. There are good sports and games facilities.
