Prestigious college having a good academic history, politics and ragging inside college campus is strictly banned, class timing (8am-1. 30pm) allows us an opportunity to explore other part time courses or doing part-time internships or jobs, commerce department is said to be the best department in Albert's.
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus followed is mg University syllabus, bcom students are not getting any industrial exposures after change in syllabus from 2018, faculties are not very friendly they only focus on academics not in overall development of the students. current vice principal Neeraja miss is a good teacher from commerce department.
Internships Opportunities
It got one month internship in a chartered accountancy firm based in Kochi. No stipend only a certificate is given by them. Group of students attended the internship in monthly rotation.
Placement Experience
Only 2 companies came in 2020 for commerce students which wasn't even good jobs offers, one is Chegg Inc and the other one is Sutherland. around 14+ students from my batch got placed. No startups or alumini networks existing.
College Events
There is no much campus area in Albert's, No campus life compared to any other college in Ernakulam, very few events are conducted that too with strict restrictions, only selected students will get the opportunity to go for fests and competitions outside the college.
Campus Life
It have a good sports ground and fitness equipments, a good library and reading hall available students with membership can take books for two weeks. open WiFi is not available for students, even in departments internet connection is very poor, mobile usage inside campus is strictly punishable with fine so students can't make use of internet for doing projects inside the campus.
