Remarks

Getting a degree from prestigious university like DTU is a great thing. DTU have one of the best campus in delhi but little less maintained. Placement is one of the important factor for which most of the students go for DTU.

Course Curriculum Overview

Till date no industrial exposure or anything came up. Poor faculties not in my course but also in other courses. But some faculties are helpful and supporting. Some faculties likes to dominate or mess with the students by their power and make them suffer.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 645000 per year

No, I didn't opted for any internship or any other offer right now

Placement Experience

DTU offers good placements and job opportunities. Number of good companies visit and good number of students get interns and jobs.

College Events

DTU not only focus on academic scores but also focuses on extra and co-curricular activities. It is the social hub for college students. DTU hosts best fest and event with the help of its society which is attended by number of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't availed any scholarships or loan facilities offered by the college. So I don't have any idea about it.

Campus Life

Campus Infrastructure is good. Sports facilities are good but not maintained. Good wifi facility among the campus. I think DTU provides best library around delhi. Every section is well divided so there is no trouble in finding anything.

Hostel Facilities

As I'm a day scholar I don't know about the hostel infrastructure and their facilities but as a student I'm aware that they are not in good condition. Hostels are not easy to get in DTU I have friends who seem to have trouble in getting hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Placement Experience:

College provides huge opportunities for placement Till now we have around 400 companies who visited our college and still the placements are going on so everyone in the end gets placed Highest package is around 60lpa and the average will be around 9-10 , As i said almost every one gets placed in the end till now 70% are placed

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester onwards. Many companies came and the highest placement was 23 LPA last time. Some courses get less placement than others but overall the opportunities are alright.

Remarks:

This college is a govt. College so the teachers are very good and the tution fees is very less. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have a good campus. Other than that everything like computers lab, mechanical labs are all in good conditions so students won't miss out much except in the sports area.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
