Remarks

Amazing college with worthy placements. I chose this course because it is most demanded in the industry in today world and I was really interested in Chemistry during my school days.Course was really good and I don't think any improvements is needed in the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers were highly qualified and helpful, most of the teachers were IIT graduates and from other top colleges abroad. Course and curriculum was relevant and the knowledge which I gained during my B.Tech helped me in applying that during my tenure at Vedanta. Students also gained industry knowledge by guest lectures and training sessions by industry experts.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 715000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

In our course all the students were placed and there was 100% placement. The highest package offered was 47 Lacs per annum and average package was about 9-10 Lacs, the lowest was 6 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Google, Amazon. Best roles offered were assistant manager, analyst, data scientist. Internship is compulsory in college and all the students successfully GOT internship from campus placement. Roles offered were good and internships were really insightful.

College Events

3.5

Events which were organised are Ojhas, Technical, Urja etc. College campus was really a happening place and every moment is enjoyed. Extracurricular activities included corporate competitions and training sessions.Sports facilities were also good and we have courts and fields for every game, we used to play at night. Overall campus experience was really good and I miss those days.

Campus Life

Infrastructure was really good and well developed. There were smart classes and the institute offered free Wi-Fi throughout the campus. Mess food was really good and tasty, it is made in hygienic conditions and we enjoyed eating it. There was a medical room which was open 24/7 and ambulance was available in class of serious cases.

Hostel Facilities

There is 2 mega hostel j and k for second and third year students. Here every students get single room.for 1st year there is hostel I in which 2 students are Alloted in a single room. rooms are ok.for 4th year students there are hostel E,F,G, H.There are separate hostels for each year. There was a medical room which was open 24/7 and ambulance was available in class of serious cases.Mess food was really good and tasty, it is made in hygienic conditions and we enjoyed eating it.

Hostel Fee: INR 33000 per year

Good for BCA without any tension and issues all things on time.

Likes

The college organizes great cultural events like the Navotsav fest during Durga Puja and the Roshni event for Diwali.
The faculty members are genuinely approachable, friendly by nature, and always ready to help students with their academic problems.
The campus infrastructure is quite good and provides a very decent environment for students to study and hang out.

Dislikes

The curriculum focuses a bit too much on theory; the college needs to prioritize providing more practical, industry-relevant knowledge.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, campus placements are quite low, and I don't think we can easily get placed directly from the college. Barely 40% of the students (or even fewer) get placed through the campus drives. However, if students practice coding and upskill on their own, they can secure off-campus placements by their second year. Because of the limited BCA placements, my personal plan is to pursue an MCA degree right after graduation.

The college environment is very calm and greenery all where.

Dislikes

Very short Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

Likes

college have great environment good facilities needed as per requirements ,college also have good spacious hostels and we can say better food comparing to what i heard from friends of different colleges ,the evening time is soothing and relaxing
a great senior junior interaction culture and memorable friendships letting you forget the world outside the campus, every festivals are celebrated with joy and fun ,from leaving a family to moving to another one you would love.
some of lectures are quite boring but some will amaze you with visionary thoughts ,every faculty will guide you if they see you lagging behind the course ,some extra sessions are also conducted, introducing new fields to think out of the box

Dislikes

things which i wish might get some improvements are sports facilities big grounds for sports activities students encouragement towards co-curricular activitiy, co-curricular activities get more support to come out with glorious and imagining skills.
fests do contain fun but due to time constraints before fests planning of amazing activities becomes difficult thus leading same things going on repeating, absence of good team leaders leading activities plays major role in activity failure and bored
night out time is a small problem, the area close to college is developing hence not having nearby much places for fun and chillouts spending your free time relaxing.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is average as during 2023-24 it was recession period all over the colleges are facing placements lags but still college students managed to achieve 22 lakhs+ off campus as well as 16 lakhs on campus placement. The college reached his highest placement of 51 lakh during 2023 ,the average package is 5-6 lakh and the placements percentage are 85 percent for cse students, the students completing 7th semester are eligible for on campus placement drive as well as off campus, some of the prominent companies visited are Microsoft, cognizant, samsung, byjus, infosys and 50 more.I will prepare for gate and after that i will try to get on and off campus placements which i will find better accept the offer.

Life at NIT JAMSHEDPUR

I also got Birla institute of technology Mishra college Ranchi, but because of very high fees I choosed National institute of technology Jamshedpur. Apart from that nit jamshedpur have a good placement record as compared to other colleges that I was getting and it has a little bit of low fees as compared to other private colleges. I wanted to go on IIT Delhi but I what rejected in JEE advanced exam. Apart from this I was selected for any other colleges. And for taking admission in my college a student have to qualify JEE mains exam with good percentile. Then they have to fill jossa counselling for getting admission into colleges where you have to choose NIT Jamshedpur as first preference or an any other college that you want as first preference. Also you have to secure 75% in 12th board of CBSE board students. Otherwise even if you get good percentile in JEE exam still you won't be able to join any NIT college of India. The minimum percentile for getting here is about 97.5 percentile for general student and 96% tile for OBC students...Read More
