Pillai college is of the renowned colleges in engineering department and it made me to choose to this college. Also it has some good faculties and has much upgraded facility for their student. Also engineering department of these college got some good reviews on internet which also made me to go for it.
Course Curriculum Overview
College faculty of this college are well qualified and having good knowledge of the subjects. Faculties of these college are very much friendly and always there for their students. Course curriculum is divided into two sets called even and odd semesters. And in each semester we have two monthly unit tests along with various practicals exams. We also have lab sessions in our everyday course pattern. Overall academics is based on the pattern provided by the university.
Placement Experience
For placements many big companies like Infosys, TCS, L&T, TSS,etc comes every year for placements activities. The college placement department look after all the different activities and tries their best to get their student get placed. They also train us very well for different types placement procedure and so that we give our best and be prepared. Overall placements is around 60-70 % getting placed with average salary around 3.5 LPA. Our college also provides various internships for their student like it may be in college or company related.
College Events
There are many technical events or seminars which are arranged by our college. Our college also conduct one of the biggest college events in Mumbai "ALEGRIA-The festival of joy". It is arranged one time in every year along with many different events. It also includes concerts, DJs and comedy night in which many big performer comes. Also college keeps many cultural days for students. College too keeps industrial seminars for the students in every month. Apart from these many festival had been celebrated by the college. And many small fest also being conducted by various committee of the college.
