Remarks

One of the best college in Chennai,since i am girl i prefer women's college,safety is there,no ragging.best college for girls.environment of college is gud,staff are soo gentle to students.these were the things make to join this college. Every religion respected and got seats according to marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.com corporate secretaryship is my dream to take this course.this course is super good one who wants to know abt secretial practices and company laws they can choose this course. teaching is too good you all can understand the lectures. Faculties are also best. Dont worry about faculties. They are always awesome.

It was good. So many companies has came everyone gets an opportunity to take palce in those campus interviews,they will follow the right procedure and steps in the campus selection overall.

College Events

Technical event they have a separate department functions,which includes subject related events, takes place every year intercollege competition we invite the other college students go participate in our programs, and we also get an opportunity often to even participate in other college events. Cultural are one of the best to enjoy in college life and you can enjoy it here.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of ethiraj college is good,the campus looks neat, they will maintain the campus clean.campus comtains labs,library, classrooms recently new building has been rised. Labs have all the equipments whic was needed by students.library has WiFi connection.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Likes

The building is new, so the infrastructure is great, classrooms are fully equipped

Dislikes

Placement cell is not very active and internship opportunities are not really provided from the side of the college
Rigid attendance system , need to maintain atleast 75% percent attendance. They do not easily provide On Duty attendance for going for internships

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and comprehensive integrating the subjects of arts as well as law. The first 2 years focus more upon the arts subject and thereafter focuses on legal subjects . Covers all the important laws pertaining to taxation, contracts, torts, labour law, environmental law, Interpretation of statutues, election laws, cyber law , etc.

Commerce cours has an entire building as we have five division in B.Com itself.
Seminars and industry people are called to guide us for placements and what all add ons do we need to learn to get a corporate job.
Our fests is too good as otherwise college gate closed at 5pm but during fests it last till 10 pm.

Dislikes

Dress code which is very wierd both for boys and girls.

Placement Experience:

P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.

Staffs are so good they know how educate us
They always ask us understand the concept not just read the books and write in exams
They allow us for other clg events they want us involve in the events

Not really anything I'm not sure may be they are strict just to make us learn well

The exams timing are only based on the government m .g.r university the staff prepare us in a very good way for the real world the staff always makes us to practice a lot to make the things to do easier

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

This college doesn't has a free wifi connection
Hostel food is average in taste. Regular time table will be followed.

This college will provide the placement to students. This college will tie up with lot of pharma college. And they select the students based on their academic and practical knowledge and taken them by interview. Special instructions will be given related to placements.
