Remarks

It is the number one arts college in Tamilnadu. All courses in this college offers some extra-curricular activities like being a part of any clubs(Citizen Consume Club, Youth Club, Red Cross Club, Rotaract Club, etc) and being a part of social services. These all are mandatory for all students to do, which also includes in semester marksheet. Loyola College is famous for Student Union Election. A very good campus with all needed facilities for students. Excellent infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus for my course will get upgraded with minor changes for each semester. We were provided with industrial exposure, which is called as Final Year Internship for final year students. The duration of this internship is one month. This is mandatory.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I worked as an intern for one month under the accountant firm named R.V.Ramanujam & Co., The work I did over this internship was interest calculation, KYC verification and Physical stock verification. No stipend was given.

Placement Experience

Some company recruited less than three candidates. And some recruited nearly 10 to 15 candidates. Job profile offered by the company was relevant to the academics.

The campus was really amazing. The campus life is based upon our friends we get during the journey. Loyola College conducts intra college culturals for 2days, which is named as "Ovations" and also they conduct inter college Department Culturals.

I would rate the curriculum 4/5. It is relevant and fairly comprehensive, covering core concepts, practical sessions, projects, and industry-oriented topics. However, more hands-on training and updated industry technologies could make it even better.

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.
