I got this college because of rank in NEET, I didn't get in MBBS college and I wanted to be a doctor. So I took dentistry and it is a government college that's why. May be government college will help to get government job easily.
Dentistry is a good course.it has lot of scopes in abroad.in India it has less scope though. It's easy to start your own clinic. It provides you a more secure job then other streams (except medical)
Our college is a government college there is no placements guarantee. But yes government job we can get otherwise we have to open our own clinic.
Campus life is boring to be honest. there is not much of extracurricular activities. Student's union organises sports and picnic. But we don't get fest every year. Fest is organised after three years. We didn't get fresher's as well.
Infrastructure is average.it has two brand new buildings with modern equipments. But no sports facilities no common room no good cafeteria no good library. The clinics is good and well equipped. More than 400 patients come in our college every day for their treatment
Placement cell is good. Not 100% of students placed on college placement but almost 70-80% of students placed through placement. You can take an eye on the college main website for placement details of previous 3 or 5 years and also find those names who were placed through placement. TCS, Cognizant, are mass recruiters for Kolkata students.
Campus placements are offered here. But are very limited and only comes to sales jobs. Which is very disappointing for CSE students. Some of the companies visited here are byjus, Flipkart, Amazon, TCS, Wipro etc. The highest package offered was from byjus in sales of 9 LPA. 50% of the students get placed here. After getting the degree I will not take any sales job here. rather I will go off-campus or do gate preparation.
Environment is so good and quite different from other colleges and I heard some good placement here and good faculties and nice class rooms here and also they provide ac in lav AC bathroom clean bathrooms and lift.
Yes, I have and they quite good in this but you have choice what to do so go for it don't hear other advice what you like what subject you love to go for this because you enjoy when you love the subject.
The placement opportunities are being provided by the college and approx. 98% placement are there in the college. Simply the thing is if anyone clears all the paper and are shortlisted for the interview then they may surely get job
It??s one of the best university in the country along with a strong faculty. Good environment. Also Kolkata is safe and it??s not far away from my home town. It??s easier to travel the distance. Parents are less worried about safety.
None. We haven??t received any placements as of yet. Doesn??t happen much in our department. Haven??t heard of it
That it gives us innumerable opportunities, exposures, and also helps us secure a job, Also provide explosures abroad. It has numerable programs like YCO, Winter fest. Also has a number of yours like wine tour, scotch tour.
College is overall good. But there is need of new infrastructure in college. since the college is currently in transition phase, so all the members have to work efficiently. Internal administration is not working properly. There is no central database for the students in college.
I love my college.but sometimes many rules that are made by college are too much as we are students and we have a self study time for minimum 5 hours.but our college starts from 9.30 am to 5 pm .this is so annoying and we have to pay fine if we reach late to college
