Remarks

College management takes care of their students and discipline in the best possible manner. The campus is student friendly. Because of the structure management students who graduate from KMC,Excel in their field in India as well as overseas. For example, the God of Heart surgery- Dr Devi Shetty.

Entrance Preview

I took MAHE entrance conducted by Manipal university rank 1800. My college is one of the best medical college in India. The overseas reputation of the college is well known to everyone. Admission process rank wise counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum of 5.5 years including 1 year of internship College focuses on students doing research and helps those who want to do foreign externship.

Internships Opportunities

Still to go into internship. But as per my seniors internship here is loaded with work with patients and an awesome experience they get out of it.

College Events

5

Every festival including hol, diwali and ganesh chaturthi etc is celebrated in a grand way with processions evening functions. College fest is one of the much awaited events of KMC,full one month of awesome and fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is a bit on the higher side but the standard of education is given balances it all.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes manipal university gives scholarship to students securing best ranks in the entrance.

Campus Life

4.5

Equal male to female ratio with a bit of female preponderance. The college council committee is helpful in many ways. All sorts of events are conducted and college participates in all India and international conferences and competitions.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels and mess food are good. Sometimes yes you also feel like throwing up when you get sick of same food every week. Hostel management takes care of the menu and high standard cleanliness.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes I had interaction with few of alumni. Most of them are professors and associated doctors at the hospital attached to the college itself so it becomes more interesting when students of the Same college teach you and share their experiences. Has helped me in so many ways. Alumni meet is conducted every year and doctors join even from overseas.

Faculty

4.5

The best faculties in India provide us with best of knowledge including current trends amd advancements in medicine.

Curriculum is based on practical scenarios and very relevant since doctors need to understand real life scenarios inorder to treat patients. Curriculum includes OSCE and certified skills that prepare students to become good doctors. Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS comprises 19 Subjects which is vast. Knowing so many things make you not only knowledgeable but also you have very important role in society. This course is filled with practical knowledge which are compulsory to get. This gives you skills which only a few people can have. So you already stand in society. The newer changes that has been made by NMC has reduced the time for studies. It was less exhausting before. Exams are properly placed and arranged . They are well divided into theories, practicals, internal examinations, certification for skills, etc. Last year has more papers now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doctor is a noble profession , the mere respect which we get by being doctor is one of the prime motive for me to pursuade this course Aside from physiology , anatomy and biochemistry we have a e t c o m which is a type of curriculum which is thought to us in which we learn to deal with different situations during our career and they also help us in terms of improving our communication which is very crucial In real life application . Personally for me the curriculum started on September and we had our first internals in January 2nd around March third round me and we had a final exams in August Honestly speaking MBBS is not an easy course , it is really hard, you need to understand the core, and then applied to even in theory and practical exams. concept
