Remarks

Because It is One of the Prestigious College for girls In Lucknow. It really provides good education with extra activities.Teachers and Faculty of this college is really very supportive.It has Good Infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty of My College is very Supportive. Teachers really help students to get their queries Solved.They always available for helping their students.Most of the teachers are very humble and kind.My College also provide a wide opportunity for personality devlopment.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 9500 per year

Placement Experience

It is Good.Every year Some Big Companies came to our College at the winter session to hire some good students.There were different companies from different field that came up with good packages to hire students.

It was very nice and Satisfactory. Specially teachers I got were very humble and supportive.There were many bigevents held in my college like intercollge fest, College fest ,sports day,Special assemblies.

Campus Life

It is Preety good. Ist view of my college is very attractive.My College has Washrooms,Auditiourm, Good Classes, 2,3 Sports grounds , Library ,Seminar hall, good Office Infrastructure ,parking place.

Hostel Facilities

It is quite good but no so good. Wardens are cooperative but it needs to be improved more.Although there are many events held for hostelers only. Hostelmates are cooperative and Nice. And Yes It is a Ragging free campus and hostel, if found in any of these malpractices there will be immediate action taken.

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

A Balanced Review of My College Journey

Likes

The college regularly organizes seminars, cultural events, and technical activities, helping students improve their confidence and skills.
The library, computer labs, and classrooms are well-maintained, providing a good environment for learning.
The teachers are experienced and explain concepts clearly. They are approachable and supportive whenever students need guidance.

Dislikes

Some practical sessions need better equipment and more hands-on training to match industry needs.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.

They give us lots of opportunities before summer vacations in terms of internship and after the final semester of exams they take our interview and give exact amount of opportunities and don't disappoint us

Likes

The faculty of the college is very supportive and understanding
The campus is also very nice you can easily find your comfort in that campus
Classrooms have unique facilities with smart board in every class and every class room is air conditioned

Dislikes

The first thing I don't like is the college food from canteen because it doesn't not have many options
The second thing I don't like is the sports facilities in the college because there are not every sports available specially football is not available
The third i don't like when the mobile network doesn't come in the college and we face a lot of problems for this

Placement Experience:

Let me talk about the placement of this college the placements and internship facilities of this college are very good for every student who are studying in this college the famous companies such as AVP news ,Aaj Tak , the truth 24 and various news channel comes for placement and internships almost each student gets placed

Likes

I liked the safe enviornment of the college
All the teachers are very supportive and helpful
The concepts are easily understood by the students

Dislikes

The variety of the food can be more but its not so
There are many activities which can be restricted
No fixed timing od dispersal sometimes you have to be extra time

If i had to talk about placement its really nice amd many deserving students are also getting it amd easily placing over different places but it is also on students how much they wirk hard for it. Thank you

Likes

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

I like their distance education so that students can complete their graduation

I was thinking to apply in the Lucknow university. But after seeing the competition there I thought I wouldn't give it a chance. So I only applied to this college because Isabella Thoburn College is one of the best known and popular colleges of Lucknow. I choose this college in the first go as I had complete trust on the education and facilities. The admission process is simple , you can apply online or take the offline admission form from the college after checking the eligibility for taking addmission in bsc biology you must have scored 55% above ,after filling the form you can submit it and then you will be asked to keep on checking the college website for the entrance exam date . Now you have to download your admit card if you applied online, or if you applied offline you were given the admit card with the form .Once you gave the exam , wait for a week or longer until your result.
