LDCE Ahmedabad, BE, Textile Technology

Reviewed on Aug 12, 2020

Remarks

Ldce is one of the most prestigious college of gujarat, also l d group is one such indulged in textiles, i thought doing textile engineering from here would be best. Also its free for girls and tuition fees for boys are also too less i.e. 1500 per year. The culture here is better than any college of GTU in ahmedabad

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties of ldce are very cooperative, the curriculum gets a little disturbed sometimes because so many events keep happening in ld (tech and non tech both) so being present at both the places gets tough sometimes. But its worth always

Class Size: 60

Placement Experience

Only ldce offers placements for MNCs. We get placements from TCS and RELIANCE too. More or less there are so many companies coming up for placements for different branches. As for my field reliance, welspun etc are the noteworthy recruiters

College Events

Ldce is famous for its event, there are so many clubs that organize tech and non tech events and also many sociocultural events. So the life here is full of happening stuff. There are annual tech fest like lakshya, socio cultural fest like kalrav, holi celebration like rang de

Campus Life

Ldce is one of the oldest college of gujarat so the infrastructure is quite old, though its campus is 36 acres wide, and includes ground for cricket, volleyball, football; tenis room, library canteen hostel are all included in the campus itself

everything you need to know about BKSPMS(gia)

Likes

the fee structure of the mba is very less compared to the other colleges
good classmates because people come from cmat and topppes only get admission
placements are good if you are satisfied with 6/7 lakhs a year

Dislikes

infrastructure of the campus is very poor
the faculties are average except one two, more from a teaching bg rather than corporate experience.
for me the average package is less, and some people also left by getting placed

Placement Experience:

good placements, avg is 6.5/7 ctc and in hand avg goes arounf 5 lpa, highest 17 lpa, lowest 4 lpa, median should be around 5 lpa, this is as per my batch(batch 23-25) it is similar in other batches and 80/90% students get placed easily if they are good and the placement cordinator also try to get the rest placed where the batch have achieves 100% almost every year. there are options after college if you dont get placement from college because it is core mba with subjects marketing finance and hr.
