The Management does its best to deliver the best for the college, but every institution does have some or the other issues with administrative people. Which are common but it doesnt create any hurdle for the student life or the students personal life. Eve

I had given XAT Exam in 2011 Jan and I had scored 78% in XAT. I opted for SDMIMD because of the Pedagogy, Placements and Study Facilities offered by the institute which are world class and matches institution like IIT and IIM.

My specialization was in Marketing and Finance at SDMIMD. In the first year it consisted of Basic Core Subjects spread across 3 sems like Marketing Management, Accountancy, Corporate Finance, Operations Management, Micro and Macro Economics,Statistics and basics of Human resource Management and Business Communication. The subjects concentrated on giving basic frame work for a business studies. In the Second Year the students split from their first year sections according to the specialization. I did dual specialization with Marketing and Finance so I can mention marketing covers Retail Marketing, Sales and Distribution management, Business Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Rural Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Brand Management and finance covers Mergers and Acquisition, Investment Banking, International Finance, Project Finance and Derivatives. Apart from these there are specialization available in Human Resource and Systems. The teaching methodology is PPT Presentation, Case Studies this will cover various case studies prepared by institution like Harvard, IIMS related to the subject and also presentation on same analysing and applying the concepts of the subjects.

During our time companies like TTK Prestige, TATA Steel,IDBI Federal Life Insurance, Odigma, Ujjivan Micro Finanace used to offer internship there is no much of stipend offered by any of the internship offering firm to be frank.

SDMIMD is bit on a positive tilt towards engineers with regards to placement as much of the companies who come prefer Engineers as far as I have seen the Average is Rs.5.6Lakh with the highest offered 14 Lakh to Rs.4 lakh. The conpanies that visited campus for placements were TE Connectivity, USL, TTK Prestige, Coca Cola, Essilor, Ujjivan, AMBA Research, ANZ, HDFC Bank, WEP Peripheral, TCS, SPI, TE Connectivity,Wipro and Infosys. IT Companies offering varies from 5 Lakhs to 7. With 8 lakhs for experienced. Marketing companies offer lesser packages Rs.4 to 5.5 Lakh. Engineeering related firms offer in range of 5 to 6 Lakh. As it is wrong to mention firms salaries in public I am mentioning the field which can be related to the fields to know the salaries.

As far as fee is considered sum total it ll cost you in total Rs.10.5 Lakh for return on investment it ll take 2 years on average the fee is all inclusive of education expenses, Hostel, Text Books, Case Study material initial payment will be around 3.5 lakh before taking admission rest spread across remaing 5 sems after taking admission.

There is no much support with regards to Loans which the student themselves ll have to takecare in most cases and college does offer scholarship to top 3 in every sem for whom the will discount the fee during my time my best friend was the topper and he had got fee discount he got beyond rs.50K.

Hostel is a must for student opting SDMIMD as they will have to be in campus throughout the program. The hostel facility is one of the best with single accommodation rooms, cushion beds, laptop table with lighting, chair and individual cupboard and shared

College does have very good alumini and Senior Students with the institution in being from Mid 90's. Every year there will be alumini get together in November college is yet to utilize its alumni potential college has started putting emphasis on getting alumini help for placing students.

Evaluation is across the Sem so a student thinking of making it large in the end just like in Degree wont work. The grading is in CGPA if you perform you ll be on top if you dont you will be down under and may terribly fail. The evaluation consist out of
