Remarks

Conclusion, its once in life time opportunity to study and live here. I thoroughly enjoyed all my semesters and would like to re-live the college life again and again, if possible.

Entrance Preview

I took CET. I opted for this college due to its reputation and their quality of teaching. Grading system is very good and helps students to scale up their scoring abilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Since this has become autonomous, the course design, curriculum and the faculty are carefully hand picked to ensure best experience of the students in all the aspects.

Internships Opportunities

The college internship experience was wonderful. I got all the required support for my internship in a timely manner. I did my internship at Citrix systems and the stipend was 18,000 INR.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements and job opportunities are very good. Top companies will conduct recruitment drive in the college and ensures almost all the students are placed in good companies with decent salaries.

College Events

The college gives lots of importance to social events and have a rich culture of celebrating the organised events in a best possible way. The events that strike my mind are FEST,Sports Day and Department related events. All the events are well planned and conducted in a best possible manner.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well this is a debatable topic,if you can gain a free seat in the college then it's fine, else the fee structure is pretty expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are lots of scholarship opportunities provided by the college, but it's left to you on how best you make use of these opportunities. Loan facility is also provided for students, especially the educational loan is very helpful.

Campus Life

The campus life is a bliss. Everyday is a new day that presents lots of new opportunities. There is absolutely no bias in gender, race or the ethnicity. All the students are treated by mutual respect both by juniors and seniors.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facilities are top notch. The timings, standards are strictly followed ensuring complete safety for students in every way. The hostel fees is pretty decent and worth staying in the hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very strong and probably the best among all the engineering colleges in Bangalore. The alumni students go out of their way to help the students, especially in terms of job placements and internships.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is very good. The college gives lots of importance to internals and this marks will be part of your final score. Addition to that the college also offers summer courses for students to clear the outstanding subjects which is of great he

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Why you should join PESU - pros and cons.

I applied to KIIT, VIT, DSCE, BMSIT along with the usual IIT and NIT with BITS. I did not clear JEE, nor was able to get somewhat of a good score for CSE in BITS. I wanted to pursue CS, so instead of choosing a course I did not like in BITS, I chose CS in PESU. I chose PESU because the placements outdo the others, while also having a better reputation than the others. For our batch, it was giving the admission test called PESSAT, through which you got a rank, and based on that you could enter the counselling round and choose your course based on your rank. Now it has changed to a JEE based rank system. For students in Karnataka it is still KCET....Read More

Review about PES UNIVERSITY BANGALORE

Except this college I had applied to RV college of engineering which is the goated college of banglore but because of the cutoff in that college I was not able to join that college. I was allocated to BMSIT college in my 1st round of Kcet but the college was the second branch of BMS College so I choose PES . No I didn't get any rejection from other college but the only issue was the cutoff of RV college of engineering i didn't had enough rank to join there . To join into our college there is a common entrance exam conducted by Karnataka government known as KCET .most students prefer this exam as it reduces the fee of your college. And another way to join into our college is JEE mains exam . My overall admission experience was great, as my college had supported us in the process hasslefree ....Read More
