Remarks

Due to some reasons: 1. This is an Institute of National Importance (NIT). 2. The placement of our college is much better than other Nuts or other government colleges. It has secured 8th rank among all NITs for placement records. 3.It has secured 79 rank in NIRF ranking this year. 4.It provides single room per student which is better to study at night as well. It means there is no roommate and you can leave alone and nobody will disturb you and you it is better to prepare for GATE as well. 5.It's infrastructure is better than others. A new academic building is built there and hostels are also new. 6.The Institute is located in Industrial areas sue to which the placement in metallurgy, mechanical and production engineering is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our professors take classes averyday. But their way of teaching is not good. They make their course so much complicated. I personally advice you to read through YouTube and soft copies or hard copies which is much better.

Placement Experience

4

Almost every student get placed in all branches. As I am in metallurgy, there are about more than 30 companies come every year for placement. And about 5 to 6 lacs is average placement in our branch. For CSE - 10 lac is average package offered. For ECE - 8 lac is average For Mechanical - 5.5 lac is average For Electrical - 6.5 lac is average package. For Civil - 4.5 lac is average package offered. For Production and Industrial - 4.5 lac is average package offered.

College Events

4

Culfest, Urja and Ojass, these 3 big events is organised every year. Some branch events also organised there such as Technica for Metallurgy. There are a lot of teams work such as Aahwan, phocus, E-cell, Tejas, Manthan, creative teams, beat breakers, invicta, Rooh, Daksh, Phoenix, revanta, team rays, Quinite, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only fee remission for tution fees by the government. It is for those students whose parents income is less than Rs. 5,00,000/-

Campus Life

All hostels are new. And a new academic building is built there. There is a computer centre, library, playgrounds, TSG, etc. Our college covers 350 acres areas. In my view, the infrastructure is too good.

Hostel Facilities

I am in Hostel-K. Every student get a single room. The room is bigger in area and good to live. Hostel is compulsory for every student. It is easily available for them. Our hostel is of 6 floors and there are 6 blocks in each floor and 18 rooms in each block. There is a facility of an Aquaguard in each block.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, campus placements are quite low, and I don't think we can easily get placed directly from the college. Barely 40% of the students (or even fewer) get placed through the campus drives. However, if students practice coding and upskill on their own, they can secure off-campus placements by their second year. Because of the limited BCA placements, my personal plan is to pursue an MCA degree right after graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my branch is Electronics and communication engineering but my major interest lies in development area , i have gained all the skills in my college by my own taking some guidance from the seniors as they are very helpful and supporting. Improvements in course curriculum could be like they have to basically add one more course or any training program to help students for making skills and teaching them for their placements.(apart of the course , i am saying not because i am from ECE department , its common from any branch student)
