Sharda University, B.TECH

Reviewed on Jul 30, 2020

Remarks

My factors for choosing an organization or university was very clear. I wanted an international environment for my education and with that I wanted proper infrastructure to support and curate my skills and interests while providing me a stable platform. Choosing Sharda University in the first place was my inclination towards the international environment, which I feel none of the universities in India could have provided me. I chose B.Tech as my bachelor's degree. I always had a spark for engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

The route curriculum is very up to date and internationalized. The educational services are surely right as you are been given get entry to to the library, online library, LMS, iCloud and many extra to fulfill the assets of knowledge. The colleges are regularly good. Yes, there can be probabilities that a positive college is not accurate but you will continually have the choice of giving comments about a specific school very frequently which is effectively taken in context with the aid of the HR branch of the college

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 850000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

it's good well deserve major companies comes for campusing. mass requirements happen every year. The Placements, each for ultimate jobs and Summer Internships is a necessary phase of any University’s annual calendar of activities. Sharda University has a properly laid-out systematic system of assembly college students profession aspirations and corporates expectations. The Placement branch feature as a bridge between the University’s Schools, Industries and Students. The Placement things to do are for the college students and by using the students. The manner is obvious and commences with the importing college students profiles on placement portal. Each college students, college coordinators and Training and Placement officers have excess to the portal.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

The experience I had at Sharda University

I did not apply to any other college. I just went with this one and just because I had heard its name. Ads were running and basically it's very big when it comes to area and also I wanted to enjoy my life plus study, so that's why I chose this university. Admission process is simple as I told you cut-off for these exams are basically attendance, 75% and in admission you only need above 60% in your 12th or even 10th, then you have a call basically an exam examination where face-to-face interview is there and then you are selected Not that tough to be very honest. People can easily get in as I have seen people paying amount to you know, just enter the course, mostly most people are through this way only....Read More

My father was posted near to this university. so upon researchig i found the campus life and the experience quite good so I dicided to join this university because it was near my home too. And I believe it doesn't matter what college you opt for in the end you hard work and dedication towards achieving your gaols decide you career. We had to give the SUAt exam in which mostly reasoning and english questions were asked. after that we had a small telephonic interview.
