The reason I chose this college was that it was considered the best private engineering college in Jharkhand. Also, it is located in a city where there are a lot of opportunities for an engineering student that is Jamshedpur, Ratan Tata's homeland. Also, the placement is better than the other private colleges. This year, the maximum package went upto 10 lakhs which is a good amount of money I guess.
I am a student of computer science engineering and the course syllabus is updated one as the college is under Jharkhand Technical University.Tge faculties are also good in their respective subjects and also guide in the placement and internship fields.
Actually,I am interning in a Bangalore based company for a duration of 3 months without any stipend as I am there for a training.
There are many private companies like TCS,Wipro where our students are working. As far as company visits are concerned, private companies from Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Kolkata come in our college. Also, the training and placement department is working hard in improving the placements every year.
It's quite exciting and full of fun and enjoyment. We have cultural and Technical festivals in our college in March every year and sports festival in month of December. In cultural and Technical one, there are a lot of groups who participate not only from our college but from other colleges too and cash prizes and gift vouchers are given to the respective winners.
I haven't availed any. But as far as I know, the college has TFW where the tuition fee is waived and you have to pay only for accommodation and meals but the condition is you should belong to minor groups and EWS.
The campus is quite big in comparison to other colleges around. After our classes we are provided with all sorts of sports and also a frolic is organised where inter branch competition take place every year. Labs and library are also well organised not only in my branch but other branches too.
The hostel is quite nice but if you are a girl then it's a quite strict one because you have to enter hostel gate before 5.30 in the evening. Otherwise, it's good like maintenance and clean and tidy. PG is not a good option as the college is far from the main city so there is a problem in coming everyday to college but if you want then bus facility is also provided.
Companies come on campus during the 5th and 6th semesters. The people with workex get placed first and the freshers get placed later The companies for both the categories are different (based on their requirements) so no student is put at a disadvantage 100% placement
I choose this college because it is in my hometown and fully dedicated to Science and technology. The reputation of this college among other students and my family members influenced me to join this college. The faculty here is good and placement is also average around Rs 4-8 lakh per annum. The admission is done on the basis of JEE main for btech student and on merit basis for BCA or BBA students. I used Collegeduniya to know about this college while admission.
Placements only for btech and mtech students. Highest package this year is 13.5 lakh per annum. Btech students are elegible for placements in the 5th semester. Companies like accenture, ibm come here to recruit. 80% students gets placed. My plans after getting this degree is to persue MCA for further studies.
I took Admission in July, 2017. The Admission process was easy. It had a duration of 4 days, in which you can report and Register yourself. Roll numbers are alloted as first come first serve. No Alphabetic Order. I took EEE in NIT JAMSHEDPUR over other choices because it has a better placement exposure and hostels are good.I took help from Collegepravesh website, when i was comparing colleges.
In 3rd year, companies visit for Internship opportunities although they are very less.In 4rth year, there are ample of IT firms, Analytics Firms visit our institute and there is ample of scope for placements in IT domain. EE and ECE are allowed in almost every IT companies. Mechanic, Civil, metallurgy and PI are allowed to sit in limited IT companies, Although there are a lot of IT companies for every branch.Start preparing for IT domain from 2nd year itself and you'll definitely get Placement with flying colours irrespective of your branch. More than 90% students get Placed till the end, the rest either are not eligible or not interested to take part in the placement process.
It is autonomous so 75% attendance is neccesary and it's a good part. I don't think there is any bad thing. We all have our regular classes. The classes is on time and availablity of faculity is also good. They are doing there job nicely and we have separate person to know about any kind of issue so that we are not concerned to teachers any more. Proff. Of my College is so encouraging. They always support us to enhance our skills.
Yes,There is all good no need to add any kind of experiment. We have to prepare for entrance test taken by college, And it is very good step to identify such kind of talented students.
Because I found there i will study perfectly. In this college you find very teachers who have friendly nature with students and tech well. Teachers provides us very good study materials. And this college are in my locality area so i found it's the best college.
In few last years placements was very good in our college. In campus best companies are come in our college like BSNL, HCL, etc. But before some years ago here campus selection was very bad.
This is one of the reputated colleges I know in the city Ranchi. The college has many courses offerings, extra curriculum and academics. It has renouned faculties which provides quality education. I love my college.
semester 6 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visit here are TCS, Infosys, vedanta etc. The average package is rs.15000 and the college is very nice.
To be a vibrant student and to study in a vibrant environment, students take admission in this university. Many students do undergraduate degrees as well as master's degrees here itself to see excellent growth and job prospects. The university works for making students market-ready so that students make their career bright.
The admission criteria were a graduate degree and a score of CAT score. After my Graduation was completed and the CAT exam, I applied to Sarala Birla University for MBA two year post-graduate program on campus. The process is submitting the documents with a filled application form.
Infrastructure: The college has indeed a beautiful infrastructure and is located in a very good locatity. Our college has good facilities like Hostal, canteen, labs, seminar halls, auditorium, playground, and digital classrooms, wi-fi, and all types of book are available in our library.(Hostal and canteen are very good quality and canteen are provide grate quality of food)
Placements : The placements of the college are good. The average salary offered 40k-80k. And grate place or companies. 80 percent student's are qualified. All the student's are very sincere and the very high tough competition in the college. And thanks to all teacher and respactive principal. We should knowledgious in this college the complete nature and it's nature phenomenon was tooo good.
Positive remarks - 1. Only one college in asia specialised for foundry and forge technology. 2. If you are not able to get our desirable branch in IITs, NITs then it is best option to choose. 3. A institute with good environmental campus. 4. Since less no. of students in this college, you will get more opportunities. 5.Academic examination is not that much tough so you can easily look for your other hobbies. Negative remark - 1. unknown college, even Ranchi people will not about our college. 2. Slow administrative work. 3. less no. of good faculty. 4. Less no. of girls in comparision to boys. 5.Burden of responsibilities.
