Remarks

Maniben Nanavati College is one of the best colleges I would have ever seen. The entire faculty members, professors, students each and everyone is so supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this college because I would always dream of being a psychologist. And this is the only girl's college who has been serving in the field of psychology. Along with all these things, the kind of Good records this college has made as yet.

Course Fees: INR 8315 per year

Placement Experience

As if for now I am in the second year of my degree. So I won't say much about the placement and all. Because I have not been going through that phase yet.

Fees and Financial Aid

To be very honest I didn't take any sort of scholarship as yet. But yes, as far as the fees structure is concern this is the most reasonable college.

Campus Life

There are lots of social media pages for my college and they are running by students only. As far as the library is concern my college*s library is one of the best libraries.

Interview Experience

I didn't face any interview or any group discussion for the sake of admission. In fact, the professor who was guiding me in regards to my career was a very polite and informative person.

Likes

The campus,,, Somaiya has best college campus with lot of activities area in it
The Sittings accross the campus is really student friendly
Canteens were supper affordable for students for food accessibility

Dislikes

The cordination given by management of college, They were so rude all the time idk y

Course Curriculum Overview:

Literature gave me insights to the history and a different pov on the situations happened Literature sharpens the thought process we can have in real world scenarios which are quite unique tbh. Its just too much of theory, if could update it and make it somehow relavent to today situation, it would be fun learning it

SPC from a TYBA students POV

Likes

Kalamandal (like theatre club), it’s a different world and it’s magical.
December to March is the college fests time and it’s super lively and fun
Psychology, Sociology & Philosophy departments have amazing professors. They’re smart, helpful and actually care for their students

Dislikes

Except for Psyc, Socio& Philo other departments are awful specially the English department. The HOD herself speaks horrible English and doesn’t even know any books of jane Austin besides pride and prejudice.
The toilets are horrible and never clean and are barely open even. The canteens are also okayish at most.
The management and accounts department are horribly slow

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's good, it's fun and I enjoy it. It changes every sem and that's why we also get to explore more of the subjects. It also depends on the professor tho. First year is to chose 6 different subjects and explore. Then second year you get to choose one major and two minors. Major are then divided into 3 parts, the 2 minor subject are elaborated and one compulsory subject which is English, this continues for third year. There are 2-3 additional subjects that change every sem too like PE, EVS, etc.
