Remarks

It was a good place to be either in terms of knowledge / placement /college life. I would like to re live my college life. It was a very good experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exam structure was well planned and it made students to balance out practical work and study. There were more options of practical aspects then theory so it is more beneficial. Course was well distributed among semesters and many options were provided to choose from. There were lots of presentations to develop as a profeesional. It helped in development as a student and as a profeesional as well. Exam structure was good a mid sem and final has equal weightage and this made student to focus everytime. Industrial visits were also organized.

Placement Experience

4.5

It is good as i got my placement from college itself. Many MNC came for placement drive and almost all deserving candidates were placed. Packages were also good. College helped in preparing for placement as well. There were lots of option for the student.

College Events

4.5

There were many technical, cultural, management festivals which the college hold. Chorus was its main festival which included everything. There were dance drama singing competitions There was many technical event competitions like Robot creation etc. There were different sports competitions for almost all the games.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was little on a higher side. We had to provide the fees annually rather than per semester. Enough time was given for fee submission. If provided on time then there were late fine as well. Fee breakdown was explained in the fee receipt. Annual fees can be paid in different forms like online transfers or Demand draft or check. Registration was done for the next plan year only after fees was paid.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opted for any scholarship or educational loan. But i think if any one has elected then they must have studied well. As far i know all deserving students were placed and once placed then can repay their loan.

Campus Life

Gender ratio was quite equal and campus life was more than great. Lots of parties and games option. There was less politics and more fun. Environment was very good. There were many extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates, etc. It was overall a good place to be.

Hostel Facilities

Yes i opted for college hostel for 1st couple of years. It is also on a bit higher side in terms of fees. But the facility provided in very good. There were options for single double tripple seater rooms and all rooms were well maintained. Food was sometimes very good and sometimes it was okay. Fees was ranging from 70000 to 120000 depending on the type of room and seater selected.

Alumni/Alumna

It a good network. There is a portal through whivh all senior and alumni can interact. College seniors are very helpful. There were many instances where seniors helped us in different events.

Admission

One of my school senior was studying there and he suggested me this college. There were lots of advertisements as well. I went for the admission and an interview was scheduled. I had a good rank in AIEEE as well. Based on interview and rank i was selected. I went there for the admission in the month of May 2011.

Faculty

4.5

It was good but could have been better. Few were very good and some needed improvements due to lack of experience. Ample lectures were provided to the student and it was around 5 for each subjects per week excluding the practical sessions. Profeesor and lab assistant used to help a lot during practical experiments and this helped a lot.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
