Wonderful experience

The College management is now under the guidance of DR. DINESH KHATTAR who is a proactive leader.

I scored 96.25% and opted for this college because of the good environment and good location in north campus.

There is increased focus on academic excellence by the teachers along with a well stocked library which facilitates easy and cost effective access to good books. The course curriculum is well structured providing all round development of students. For commerce students the Visits are conducted to relevant places like SEBI office etc.

I have not been a part of internship program in college. There are various opportunities for doing internships throughout the year in startups as well as established companies.

A large number of companies come to take students from all courses. The placement cell is actively working throughout the year to provide good opportunities to students. Though there is particularly high demand of students pursuing BCOM H, economics h and statistics h.

The annual fest RENAISSANCE is well known among students of DU.THE ANNUAL FESTIVALRenaissance made a small beginning with less than ten colleges participating; however through the years Renaissance has matured to become one of the most eagerly awaited cultural festivals in University of Delhi, with participants in hundreds and audience in thousands. Renaissance is arguably the largest festival organized in the University.This goodwill and bonhomie that Renaissance enjoys has been built over decades and can only be attributed to the selfless hard work of the students.

The fees for 2nd year is 9200. It is feasible for all students even those coming from poor family background. Education in DU is known to cheap with high standards and this college stands true On this notion as well. Considering all the facilities provided to students it becomes really good option for all the students.

I have not availed any loan or scholarships from college. The college does offer students of reserved categories some concession in fees plus to meritorious students on need cum merit basis.

The campus life is refreshing. It gives you a new perspective in life. In college you find a lot of outstation students who come for completing graduation. This gives an idea about the life of students and people who reside in different parts of the country and contrasts in ideology of various communities in India.

I have not taken the facility of hostel as I reside in delhi. Though there are a lot of PGs around college in kamla Nagar, shakti Nagar, gtb Nagar and Maurice Nagar which are close and provide safe environment to students. The rates of PGs depend on the locality and size of room, no. Of students in room and other factors.

The seniors in the college are extremely helpful. They guide you from which books to read, how to go about classes to which are the best food joints in kamla Nagar. The network of seniors provide very helpful information on a daily basis.

The exams are conducted in an organised manner giving ample time to students for preparing. The internal exams are set keeping in mind the comfort level of students so that everyone can appear without clashes in other subjects. The lab hours are also planned accordingly.

The teachers are well qualified and pretty sincerely focus on imparting industry oriented knowledge to students, thus providing actual use of knowledge along with the theoretical understanding which is helpful in scoring good a CGPA. They arrange classes as per suitability of students, making whole learning experience worthwhile and fun.
