Remarks

College is good. North students will face a little problem while communicating with administration due to language. A little bit of partiality in giving hostel room to North Indians.

Entrance Preview

I took COMEDK. May rank was 9388.Got CSE in first round only. Heard about this college very much. Very good college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is very easy.Chapters are divided in sections to facilitate easy learning of the topics.Advanced, researched and updated lesson plans. Exams are taken 2 times before semester exams so that students should not have to go through whole syllabus at one time.It makes student's work easy. All the 2 exams and semester exam marks are aggregated in 100 to give the result and CGPA. Use of tablet for most of the study.Students are provided with many apps and pdf for studying. All the teachers are very helpful.

Internships Opportunities

Here is the demerit. College doesn't provide Internship from it's own side. But don't be sad. There are many startups running in the college with whom you can work and gain a lot of experience. You will also have chance to start your own company. If it goes well then you can remain with your company otherwise you will have the experience which will give you high priority in placements.

Placement Experience

4.5

Don't worry about it.About 90-95% students get placed easily.Just you have to be good on your academics and personal skills. Walmart Labs took 7 students for Rs 14 lac package.Microsoft 9 lacs. And many more.Avg. Package is 3-3.5 lac.Mass recruiting by Infosys, TCS and Cognizant.

College Events

4.5

There are many programs in college being held in college almost everyday. Some sports tournament.Creativity, dance competition, singing, web designing, programming. After all these every year an annual function is organised in college. Many exhibition and research are being held in college to encourage the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Admission to B.E. courses is taken through KCET, COMEDK and Managaement quota.Fees for KCET students is around 70k per year while for Comedk students it is almost 2lac per year.Management quota students have to pay management fee along with Comedk fees from 2nd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, college doesn't provide any scholarship or loan facilities for students. SBI will help in providing loan but will ask for many documents.College provides 500Rs for making project to a team.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is awesome.Gemder ratio is 1:5.Most students are local.North Indian will be less.Don't worry about communication.Almost everybody knows English, Hindi. All are very helpful. Many extracurricular activities are going on in the campus.Labs are well equipped. Many sports facilities in the campus like Cricket, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Voleyball, Basketball, Gym etc. Many competitions goes on in the campus every week.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facility is very good. You will get WiFi till 12 a.m.Unlimited WiFi woth min. 1MBps and max. 4MBps. Hostels have 2,3 and 4 seater. Fees for them is 36k, 33k, 30k.For 2 seater with bathroom attached is 45k. Mess fee is 25k per year. Mess food is awesome. You will not get so much good food in any other college of Karnataka.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful. Alumini network is very good. Sudha Murthy is from our college. So Infosys take many students.

Exam Structure

No problem in exam.Reading the notes will fetch you good CGPA. Before semester exams there are two exams called as Minors whose marks are added in Semester exam to gave your result. This reduce the pressure on students. Students get ample time to prepare for semester exams. In minors basically 2-3 chapters in every subjects come in exam.In semester exam there is whole syllabus.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are very helpful. They are all the time ready to solve our problem and doubts. Syllabus is distributed in hours and gives a easy way to students.Students are taught using both theoretically and practically to make them understand the topics from 1st year itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
